Das Hotel liegt vier Meilen von der Innenstadt von Bar Harbor und einem und anderthalb Meilen vom Eingang zum Acadia National Park, dieses geräumige Pfosten-Riegel-Haus mit Blick auf einen unberührten Wiese bietet eine perfekte Umgebung für Sie und Ihre Familie, um Ihren Urlaub zu verbringen. Das Haus ist gut zurück von Route 3 Bereitstellung einer sicheren und privaten Ort für Kinder zu spielen und Erwachsene zu entspannen eingestellt, während immer noch leichten Zugang zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel. Die L. L. Bean Island Explorer-Bus sind kostenlos und werden Sie am Ende der Auffahrt abholen, um Sie in die Stadt fahren, Acadia National Park, oder sonst wo auf der Insel Sie zu gehen, und bringt Sie wieder am Ende des Tages wollen . Das Innere des Hauses ist wunderschön handgefertigten Pfosten-Riegel mit neun Meter hohen Decken. Das Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Obergeschoss und verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Die Südseite hat zahlreiche Fenster, so dass für natürliches Licht während der Tage, während Sie im Wohnzimmer entspannen.

Unser Haus: Wir haben eine große Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln und Gasgrill. Hufeisen-Grube auf dem Gelände mit Blick auf die schöne Wiese. Große Schaukel und Haus für Kinder. Große Rückseite Rasen.


Lokales :: Halten Meeresbewohner vom Touch Tank und beobachten Robben sonnen sich auf den Felsen. Entspannende Segelausflüge sind ebenfalls erhältlich. Machen Sie einen Spaziergang durch die Innenstadt Bar Harbor, oder besuchen Sie andere kleine Fischerdörfer der Insel eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. The house is tucked in off the main road so was quiet and felt very private. Everything was as described and very well kept. Easy drive to the Acadia visitor center and a fifteen minute drive to Bar Harbor. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Wonderful location to Arcadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Had all the cooking tools we needed for a family of 7. Beds were comfortable. Melanie was a great host and we strongly encourage people who want to visit Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park to stay at this location as it’s easy in and out. Amazing vacation

As soon as we entered the home we knew we were in for a fantastic stay! We had so much room to spread out, the kitchen and the deck is where we spent most of our time though. Sitting on the deck, looking out into the meadow was amazing. The home had all the things we needed, we even cooked dinner there one night. Loved our stay and when we hopefully return to Bar Harbor, we will want to stay here again!

Enjoyable and Good Location

The home was very comfortable for our group and Melanie was great at communicating with us. My only suggestion to Melanie would be to have a nicer kitchen setup with enough matching plates and accessories. Maybe some nicer bath towels would be great too. Thanks for the stay!

This family was renting at the end of the season. I always replace dishes and towels in the spring the following year. Dishes get broken and are replaced sparling until the next year.

Perfect Distance from Acadia and Bar Harbor

Bar Harbor traffic is crazy! Was so nice to be just outside in a call, serene setting. House worked great for us. Loved all the toys (inside and outside) and children’s books for my kids. House has tons of character! Would recommend anyone stay here.

Week in Acadia

We traveled with our adult children and the house was perfect. It is very close to Acadia and also to the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. It has an open floor plan, a big kitchen, and a welcoming back deck and yard, which were all perfect for relaxing between activities and cooking at the house. The owner was a good communicator. Overall, it was a great rental!

Wonderful Family Vacation

This home was a perfect private place for a small family gathering. We had ample space for game/movie night on the rainy days with room tor cooking and meals for eight. The location was wonderful for short drives to Jordan pond, Cadillac mountain and walking the Shore path for beginner hikers. The Bee Hive was for the more ambitious of group. The Bar Harbor Inn was especially nice to have lunch and cocktails while viewing the harbor and enjoying the warmth from the fire pit. Overall our family had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor and the surrounding area.

Great stay for families visiting Acadia

We stayed here with our extended family including a toddler and infant. The house has a long driveway so it sits away from the road and the outdoor space is wonderful. We loved sitting on the deck after hikes. There were lots of toys and a play set out back for the kids to enjoy. The kitchen was well-stocked. The only complaint is the carpet in two of the upstairs bedrooms was stained and worn, but they had replaced the carpet in the hallway and master so I assume the bedrooms are next. There is also plenty of parking - we had three cars and could have easily fit two more. It’s a perfect location for exploring Acadia. I was worried about staying outside of Bar Harbor but am happy we did - the yard was so pleasant to relax in after a day in the park.

comforts of home

This is our second stay at this rental. Nice, clean home away from the hubbub of downtown Bar Harbor. Kitchen is roomy and very well supplied, large dining table, comfy couches and television with satellite and 1/2 bath downstairs. Lovely large deck that overlooks big private backyard...you'll probably spot deer. One queen size bedroom downstairs, upstairs master with king and bathroom, another bedroom with queen and a room with a twin size bed that has an optional twin mattress available (stored under upstairs queen bed) that lays on floor. Also, additional full bath upstairs. Location is about 2 miles from the Hull Cove entrance to Acadia and access to carriage roads. The owner was quick to respond to any questions or issues (which we didn't have).

A Wonderful Family Vacation In Bar Harbor, Maine

Our stay at the "Post and Beam Home on Meadow" was wonderful! We had seven adults and a small dog all comfortably accommodated at this beautiful home. Mornings were spent on the deck, watching deer wander by in the large open meadow beyond the yard, and listening to singing birds. The meals we had in home were prepared in the beautiful and well appointed kitchen which had all we needed (including a propane grill on the covered entry way. The dining room for eating and games, and the living room for lounging was perfect for us. All of the bedrooms were comfortable (the master bedroom and bath were extremely spacious). The house could not have been closer to everything we wanted to visit, but was set back from the road so we felt perfectly isolated and could her no passing cars. At night, the view of the stars (and satellites) was awesome. We definitely would recommend this home for anyone needing the space and who enjoy relaxing in the outdoors.
