Casa Valhalla is a unique opportunity to enjoy a family holiday, ideal for all generations.
This spacious five-bedroom, five-en suite detached villa has a pool, table tennis, Wi-Fi, and International TV channels. The kitchen is fully equipped, including two fridges, a washer, a freezer, a dishwasher, and a bar area.
The gardens are beautifully landscaped and incorporate a children's play area. There is also a full-size table tennis table. The sunbathing area has a barbecue, sun loungers, seating and an outdoor shower. For cooler months, pool heating is an Optional Extra. The Hot Tub is an optional extra at any time of the year. You can also order a beer keg of either 30 or 50 litres.
Accommodation: A beautifully decorated 5 bedroom villa with a south-facing pool set in tranquil gardens. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a bathroom ensuite. The guest master has a queen-size bed with an ensuite.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 come with two single beds and ensuite shower rooms. Bedroom 5 also has twin beds and an ensuite. A large, fully equipped kitchen overlooks the pool and garden. It has a bar area with an additional fridge and sink. The open-plan lounge boasts ample seating and International TV channels. The dining area also has pool and garden views and comfortably seats 12. Outside, the 10 x 5-meter pool is south-facing, and chairs and loungers are provided. There is a chill-out area where you can sit in the shaded area and read or have a quiet drink on the first floor and ground.
Please note that the pool heating, Hot tub, and beer kegs are optional extras and must be paid for separately. Our prices are also based on 6 people staying in the villa. We charge an additional 50 GBP per night per person for 7+ guests.
We cannot allow any pets due to family allergies and reactions.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024, a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal TurĂstica de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is âŹ2 per person per night during the high season (April â October) and âŹ1 per person per night during the low season (November â March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore, for all reservations over 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7 nights.
This property typically has a Thursday changeover day and a minimum night stay, which varies between seasons.
A 500 GBP security deposit is required.
Check-in is at 4 p.m. This allows us more time to sanitise all utilities for everyone's safety.
SPECIAL NOTE: We do not allow using P20 or any All Day suntan lotion or oil. They stain the bedding and towels, and we would have to pass on the cost of replacements to our guests.
Age limitations may apply.
Please don't book flights until you confirm your booking.
We recommend that all guests take out holiday Travel insurance.

After moving to the Algarve from the UK in 1999, we decided to design a villa that would tick everyoneâs box for a perfect holiday. After 5 years of careful planning, we approved the plans and design and started building the ideal Holiday Rental Villa. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, safe and plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen is huge with 2 sets of plates and cutlery, ideal for extended families to enjoy the interaction of preparing a family BBQ/meal. We moved the outside seating area nearer to the kitchen for ease. It also has a bar with fully pumped draft beer, if required. The living room is open plan next to the kitchen, with everything for entertainment. WIFI, Flat-screen TV, with international channels.
We also have a large hand-built wooden table that can seat 12 comfortably. The patio door opens to the gated terrace overlooking the pool, which has sofas where you can sit and enjoy the sunset drinks or watch the children play in the pool. Gates stop little children from entering the garden and pool.
In the garden, we have a full-size table tennis table, a large 8 x 4-meter heated pool (optional), A large patio with 12 deck beds and a shaded area. We have installed an outside eating area near the pool and kitchen.
There is a large grassed area for playing ball games and a beautifully manicured mature garden. We have also installed a large climbing frame and slide from Little Tykes in the garden.
Our philosophy is for you, the guest, to enjoy your holiday and have a wonderful, memorable time without hassle or stress. Thus allowing you to make those precious memories.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft
We chose this villa, Casa Valhalla, due to its location and views. We looked along the Algarve and found that Carvoeiro offered the most for family values. Having many bars and restaurants close to the villa, but the tranquil location made this idea. The villa was used by a local builder as a show villa to promote his building services, where he ended up building over 100 villas in and around Carvoeiro.

We want you to enjoy the location and relaxation. There are plenty of taxis in the square in Carvoeiro, so if you want to stroll into the village, enjoy the fun in the square with live music and entertainment, and get a taxi home, it's a great end to the evening.
