Our villa is spacious & light offering accommodation for upto 6 people with private pool, air con, broadband and 2 hours maid service per full week.

Furnished to a modern, high standard it offers broadband internet access, a very well equipped kitchen, large lounge with flat screen surround sound internet TV & DVD, leather sofas & fireplace with log burning stove, dining room with extending table to accommodate 8, 3 double/twin bedrooms (two with balconies), 3 bath/shower rooms & ample storage space.

The garden offers small private pool with spacious patio, barbecue with dining patio, further 'quiet' patio area, ample garden furniture & electric sun awnings. A child proof gate and fence separates the pool area from the rest of the outside area.

The use of air conditioning & heating to the swimming pool carry extra charges for guests who wish to use them.

Located within easy reach of all resort areas & only 10-20 minutes from many of the golf courses & other leisure facilities the Algarve is well known for, the villa is an Ideal holiday venue for families, golfers, sporting fanatics or just sun and beach lovers.

Resort Facilities:: Two Championship Golf Courses, Tennis Academy with 14 courts, pool, gym, sauna, steam and massage facilities, Cultural Centre and Auditorium, Physiogym and Royal Spa area, Lobito Kids Club for children, pristine beach with water sports, two resort pools, bars and restaurants, crazy golf.

Also on site: Vale do Lobo shopping, internal bus service, bank, supermarket, medical centre and 24 hour security system ensuring a secure environment.

Superb Villa in Vale do Lobo

We spent 3 weeks over Christmas here and enjoyed every day... The villa is home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Excellent location for Restaurents, shops and golf. Hire Car or Uber recomendedKeith was a wonderful host and we very much looking forward to booking again in the near future!!

A comfortable and well located Villa

The property is in an ideal location on the edge of the golf course and close to the main reception and shops. A pleasant walk through the golf course to the beach was a daily delight. The villa is spacious and well kept, clean and with all the amenities and equipment needed. I'll be back!

Beautiful villa

The villa has a very homely feel about it and it is very beautiful. It is situated in a perfect location. We were a group of 5 ladies and we used Uber to get around which was very reasonable. Keith the owner of the villa was very approachable and always got an instant reply when we contacted him. If you are looking for a perfect villa I would highly recommend it.

Superb accommodation, excellent location, great host

Extremely well equipped house, it has everything you could need. Great BBQ and outdoor area, nice clean pool, loads of loungers. We didn't heat the pool in early April and it was fine - lovely and refreshing after being out in the sun. Beautiful and clean area very close to loads of excellent places to eat and visit. Excellent communication with the host. Top marks all round!

Fantastic Stay

Great villa, beautifully kept, great amenities. Have stayed in VDL many times and this was certainly one of the best. Lots of space both inside and out, plenty of seating in the villa, large outdoor area with sun loungers and large table and chairs. Great to have a barbecue as well. Having had a couple of questions with the owner he came back to us with answers almost immediately. Will stay again and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for an upmarket stay in Vale Do Lobo.

Relaxed Villa Folly

Lovely villa with a lot of space for the whole family. Nice terrace with a pool which a large enough to have fun for the kids and to jump in for a quick refreshment. Even if you decide to stay at the villa Folly for a day just to read your book or doing nothing at all you'll feel energised at the end of the day. All equipment worked very well. Large kitchen to prepare meals. Lovely walk through the golf area of 20 minutes to go to the beach.

First Class Holiday Villa

This truly is a first class holiday villa. Great location, great amenities, superb back up facilities if needed,a lovely house maid, all in all a very clean well equipped home. Debbie and Keith the owners were very easy to deal with and very helpful in general. This villa has everything you could want,good cooking facilities inside and out,a nice plunge pool with toys if needed,Wi-Fi, Satellite TV(needs Sky Sports), pretty close to the supermarket and the beach and restaurants.We stayed for three weeks and the pleasure was all our's, Thanks Guy's.

Villa Folly, Vale do Lobo

Five girlfriends stayed for a week in late May. The villa was excellent, you can tell it is used as a home. We used the VDL shuttle bus for the shop and the fantastic Well swimming pool complex. An excellent service day and night. We also discovered Maria's by walking along the lovely sandy beach. A really great place but so was the on site restaurants and those at La Praca. We really enjoyed our stay on VDL. It is spotlessly clean, lovely planting and excellent friendly staff. The weather was good too! We could not fault our stay and Keith, the owner, was great getting back to us re queries etc. Highly recommmended.

A fantastic holiday at a brilliant villa.

We had a brilliant stay at Keith’s villa. This was our first holiday with our 3 month old son. We had everything we needed: spacious rooms and downstairs, fully equipped kitchen, air-con and bbq. It really does have it all. Vale do Lobo is a wonderful resort. You have maintainance on hand if required. A shuttle and good security. All the shops and restaurants feel like a 5-10 mins taxi. Thank you for letting us stay. A great dialogue with Keith given the flight trouble we experienced. Our restaurant tip would be to get The Bold Octopus booked for lunch.

Stunning Villa, Fantastic Location

This was our tenth visit to Vale Do Lobo, however our first visit to Villa Folly. The villa itself was perfect, everything that we could have asked for and more, it was clean and well equipped inside and the outside space was fantastic. My three children, aged 13,9 and 6 kept themselves entertained in the pool area for hours. The pool fencing was an added bonus that we hadn't expected. The location was perfect for us as we could walk to the Pingo Dolce supermarket at the entrance to Vale Do Lobo and the Praca was also within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this villa and we will hopefully be booking again for next year.

A lovely place to spend a summer vacation

I have been going to Vale do Lobo for a number of years staying in many different properties. Villa Folly is definitely one that I will be returning to. My advice to the owners on my departure was to hire a better photographer. The photos on this site in no way do this villa justice. It is a much better property than we expected. It is also worth mentioning how well appointed the villa is. The kitchen is stocked well with everything that you may need. I have no hesitation in giving this villa the maximum five stars. Andy

Very upmarket decor and spotlessly clean

We have stayed in Villa Folly a few times and always have a great holiday. This time there were 6 of us and, as always, the villa had everything you could wish for and was very well furnished and spotlessly clean. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in the villa and have put in so much effort and thought to make sure guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. The maid service was brilliant. It was so lovely to come back from a day on the beach to find the beds made and the villa clean. We all enjoyed the BBQ, seating area and pool and the electric sun canopies are a real luxury and so easy and quick to use. This year we even had fresh lemon in our drinks from the lemon tree in the garden! There is so much to do in Val do Lobo and the surrounding area and so many lovely restaurants. Thank you for an amazing, relaxing and fun holiday in a fantastic villa. We would definitely recommend this villa and look forward to returning again soon. Excellent villa and resort

This was our first visit to Vale do Lobo and we loved it. We travelled with our two teenage kids and our daughters friend and stayed for 10 nights. From the moment Debbie was kind enough to accept our 10 day booking (we found many villas were only offering 7 or 14 days) she couldn't have been more helpful. She responded quickly to a few questions before we went and was keen to make sure everything was fine when we arrived. Keith and Debbie also have prepared a few useful folders for visitors with tips on things to do and places to eat. This proved to be very useful as we had a couple of excellent meals at local restaurants that we wouldn't have otherwise stumbled across. The villa itself is lovely,very well equipped and a perfect size for our party of 5 and the pool was an added bonus to cool down in. The villa is approx 15 min walk to the golf club which has a restaurant and a couple of bars, and a 25 min walk to the main Praca. We decided not to purchase a resort card so didn't have access to the resort bus but as we had a car this wasn't a major problem. The restaurants on the resort are all nice but slightly more expensive than the ones off site. It's worth reserving a table in advance as they can be a bit busy. We had one round of golf on the Ocean course ( the Royal was closed for maintenance). Excellent course and if playing I would recommend considering the twilight option. All in all a great holiday and would definitely recommend Villa Folly to anyone.

We have been visiting family in Vale Do Lobo for 25 years. This was the first time that we rented a property so it felt like a leap of faith. Straight away Keith's communication content and communication style provided comfort and put me at ease. The villa is a peaceful spot and had everything we needed for a family of four. We had a very comfortable stay and a great week in this excellent property.

Hi there, this is my family - I have two daughters, Fern and Holly, (hence the name Villa Folly) and am now blessed with three beautiful granddaughters, Ruby, Nelly and Poppy - who arrived in August 2020! It would appear that we do not do boys! We all live in Oxfordshire and try to have an annual break together at Villa Folly which is our second home. I am now retired - but lead a very busy life with golf typically at the centre of it - particularly when we are at the villa! I also do Spinning which has helped to keep me as fit as I am, particularly during lock down, when I have used Zoom to join my classes in Portugal with my local spinning and health instructor (I would highly recommend her whilst you are at the villa). It is important to us that our guests enjoy our second home as we do and to this end we endeavour to do everything possible to ensure they have a happy and relaxing holiday whilst there.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I fell in love with the Algarve after a friend took took me there for a weekend golfing trip. The villa is our second home. We bought it off plan and when it was built we were not disappointed. The area is beautiful and quiet yet close to all the amenities. It has been fitted to a modern standard with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and plenty of living space. My family and I think there is no where better to enjoy the weather and relax.

I absolutely love Vale do Lobo and the location of the villa in Val das Flores. Even during the peak holiday season it is lovely and quiet. The outside area is mainly patio and pool. Outside dining is near to the kitchen and also has a great BBQ. Both bedrooms have their own private patios for you to relax in as well and from the master bedroom patio you have views across the 8th tee of the Ocean Golf Course to the sea in the distance. It is heaven.
