Unfortunately, when we arrived the home was not clean. The host said the property was clean the day prior but it was evident that it either was not or not done well. The floor was dirty, dead gnats everywhere on the floor and on top of the beds, curtain rod was slightly hanging off, and a few of the dishes weren’t clean. We ended up not staying there, cancelling and going to a different location. The host is a nice guy and wish him well but unfortunately the home needs some attention.

The outside of the home had no curb appeal…once inside, it seemed clean and ready for our weekend…as time went on we found several issues…no clean towels in the bathrooms, no laundry detergent, no dishwasher detergent, dirty towels and sheets piled up on the washer and dryer…the outside front porch and a couple of the windows were covered in spider webs..we contacted Tucker and he told us that we could find some clean towels in the downstairs closet…by that time we had already washed some with our supplies that we brought…On a positive note, Tucker was very quick to respond to my message…we were told by another person who left their number on the table that someone would come by the next day to take care of things, but never happened…we made the best of the weekend..The home is very cute and perfect for a couple or two if only they would be more attentive to the details.

Thank you for staying with us and for the honest feedback. We’re sorry about the missing towels and detergent, the laundry left out, and the follow-up visit that didn’t happen. That’s not the experience we want for our guests. We’ve since tightened our turnover process and are addressing the porch and exterior. We’re glad you enjoyed the home and hope to have you back!

This is a cute small property. Everything was very neat and tidy, although the dishes in the dishwasher were not clean, they had a film over them that we initially thought was because the previous party had run the dishwasher with frying pans. It turns out there were no dishwasher pods ergo the dishes really were not clean. We hand washed a lot of dishes. The beds and the pillows were quite comfortable. There were adequate towels, although some of the newer towels that were hung up didn't feel like they had been washed and they were very rough. Thankfully there was a good supply of softer towels in the bathroom. There was plenty of closet space for a weekend stay, however no hangers in the closets. It would make it easier if a few hangers were supplied, although this wasn't a major make or break for a weekend stay. The decor is cute and the neighborhood felt safe. The bathrooms were reasonable, clean and each had a hair dryer as well as adequate soap, bath products and towels. A point of irritation was just that there were no waste paper baskets in the bathrooms, so we hung small shopping bags on the vanity handles. Overall the property was fine but I think there are some small points that could make it amazing. The welcoming bottle of wine was a nice touch. We left some other recommendations on the notepad in the kitchen.
