The Space:

Garden Trails holds the distinction of being the very first home built in Mountain Shadows, a spacious four-bedroom retreat where eclectic character meets true Colorado mountain comfort, just a mile from Garden of the Gods.

Cherry hardwood floors and an eclectic mix of curated art and decor set the tone in this inviting living room, anchored by a brand-new Italian leather seating set with room for the whole group to spread out.

The fully stocked kitchen is ready for everything from a quick mountain morning to a full group dinner, complete with a complimentary coffee station with pods and a complimentary spice rack.

Dog friends are welcome! The fenced backyard includes a dog house for four-legged guests. For guests bringing dogs, there is a mandatory pet fee of $100 per dog, collected after booking. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed per reservation unless otherwise approved. No other animals are permitted.

The driveway comfortably fits up to six vehicles. Please note that the garage is not available for guest use.

The Neighborhood:

🏔️ Mountain Shadows is one of Colorado Springs' most scenic and quietest established neighborhoods, tucked into the foothills of the Front Range with Garden of the Gods just one mile away. The park is free to enter year-round and home to 21 miles of trails, iconic red sandstone formations, and some of the most photographed views in Colorado, with the Palmer Trail winding through ponderosa pine right from this side of the park. Mountain Shadows Park, with a sports field and children's playground, is just a block away, and Ute Valley Park's free, dog-friendly trail network is a short drive out.



🍽️ Marigold Cafe and Bakery is about two miles away on Centennial Blvd and is genuinely one of the best restaurants in Colorado Springs, ranked in the top five out of over 1,100 restaurants in the city. French-inspired menu, exceptional pastries, and a patio with Pikes Peak views. Garden of the Gods Road itself is lined with additional dining, including Red Leg Brewing Company, a veteran-owned craft brewery with a rooftop deck and regular live music.



🤠 The Flying W Ranch is less than a mile away and one of the most unique experiences in Colorado Springs. From late May through October, they host nightly chuckwagon dinners with live Western music, ranch animals, and cowboy activities. A genuine highlight for families and first-time visitors.

🚶 On Foot: The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant for walks, with Mountain Shadows Park just a block away and Garden of the Gods trailheads reachable on foot, though most guests prefer to drive for longer excursions.



🚴 By Bike: Mountain Shadows connects to the Garden of the Gods trail system, which allows biking on select trails with paved bike lanes on all one-way roads.



🚌 Public Transit: Limited in this area. A car is recommended for getting around.



🚕 Rideshare: Uber and Lyft both operate reliably in Colorado Springs and service this neighborhood.
