Treetop Suite at Tofino Hobby Farm

Bright, cozy suite looking over the trees in Yew Wood Neighbourhood.

The suite has a private entrance. Guests are able to enjoy the backyard garden, visit with the bunnies, or relax in the hammock!

We live and work in the house attached to the suite and will be available for guests.

The neighbourhood is located between the beaches and town in a quiet, family friendly area.

The MUP (multi use path) is at the bottom of the street to access beaches or town. There is also a forest trail that takes you to beaches and town and is accessed through the back gate on the property.

Please note that this is a studio suite and although the kitchen is separate from the living and sleeping space, the bed and fold out futon are in the same room. There is not a separate bedroom.

Treetop Suite at Tofino Family Home & Hobby Farm - Policies

Check-in is after 5:00 pm.
Check-out is before 10am.
As we have a very tight cleaning schedule during the busy season, checkout times will be strictly enforced. Late checkouts result in a $50 fee.

Conduct: The individual making the reservation and paying for the rental shall also be responsible for the conduct of all other persons in the rental or property during their stay- whether a member of their party or not.

Children: We are child friendly, however the house and property is not child proof. If you are arriving with children, please check for any hazards that may harm your child.

Pet friendly: 1 dog allowed With a fee of $50 before tax. Inform us at the time of booking; follow the Petiquette rules sent to you.

Smoking: NO smoking is allowed in the suite or on the property. Guests are welcome to smoke outside at the end of the driveway, but please dispose of cigarette butts properly. Please do not smoke near the bunnies.

Parking is available for 1 vehicle.

Keys will be available upon check in.

Quiet Time: The suite is located in a residential neighbourhood. We are very close with our neighbours and would like to keep it that way. Please respect our neighbours. Quiet time hours are 11:00pm – 7:00am.

Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc. Dish cloths, Paper towels, and dish soap are also provided.

Bathroom: There will be enough bath towels for each guest, plus a few extras. Do not take the bath towels to the beach. There will be separate beach towels available for your use up in the closet. We’ve found it very wasteful to provide single-use shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. Please bring your own.

Beach Gear: Please rinse all beach gear outside, especially wetsuits and surfboards. Shake out towels and clothing so as not to track excess sand into the suite. There is a hose at the front of the house near the garage. There is also a heated surf shower available at the side of the house to rinse off.

Garbage and Recycling: Garbage and recycling must be disposed of in the provided bins. Much of the veggie/fruit waste can be given to the chickens (a note about this will be provided in the manual at the suite) Please do not leave garbage outside. The crows will be into it almost immediately during daylight hours, and bears or racoons could get into it if left overnight.

Cleaning: A cleaning fee is charged with each reservation. The house is professionally cleaned after each guest, but you are still required to leave your rental in the approximate condition that you found when you arrived.

· Return all furniture, appliances, beds, etc., to their original location
· Place all soiled towels in the bathtub. Do not strip beds.
· Clean dishes on the drying rack are acceptable
· Place garbage and recycling in the provided containers

Damage Upon your departure, your rental will be assessed for any damage and/or missing items. These items include, but are not limited to:

· The property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear
· Linens, towels, and bedding stained or missing
· Carpet or wood floor stains
· Appliances and furniture
· Interior walls, windows, and window coverings
· Breakage, theft, or any other damage

Lost and Found We will not be held responsible for any items left behind. We will do our best to contact you and hold the item for 30 days. If requested, items will be returned at your expense.

Limitation of Liability We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises by themselves, their children, or others whom they invite to use the premises, and hereby waive any claims of liability or negligence against us for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the property

Agreement By making a reservation at the Treetop Suite at Tofino Family Home and Hobby Farm you are acknowledging that you have read, and understood the Terms and Conditions above.

Cancellation: When booking direct on the Blue Crush Website, 100% refund less $50 cancellation fee if cancelled more than 30 days before arrival. Non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of check-in.
