THE SPACE



Balandras Beach Stay #3 is a modern and comfortable 1 bedroom, 1 bath retreat within Balandras Luxury Stays, a private 4 unit complex in Cerro Gordo, Vega Alta, Puerto Rico.



Guests enjoy direct access to beautiful Cerro Gordo Beach, as well as a shared pool, BBQ gazebo, outdoor seating, poolside bathrooms, and a shared washer and dryer.



The unit offers a relaxed beach atmosphere with comfortable furnishings and clean, modern finishes. All sleeping and living spaces are air conditioned.



LIVING AREA AND KITCHEN



The bright living area includes a sofa, armchair, TV, and queen bed. The queen bed is located in the living area and serves as both a sleeping and lounge space.



The kitchen includes a 2 burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, full size refrigerator and freezer, cookware, and basic kitchen essentials for preparing meals during your stay.

Balandras Beach Stay #3 is located in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, in the Cerro Gordo area known for its beautiful beach and convenient location.



The property is approximately 40 minutes from the airport and is close to restaurants, beaches, outdoor activities, and local attractions.



Cerro Gordo State Park is nearby and offers trails for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking.





THINGS TO DO NEARBY



Explore local restaurants offering Puerto Rican, Italian, Asian, and other cuisines.



Visit Dorado Public Beach, approximately 5 minutes away by car, with beachfront restaurants and bars.



Shop and dine at Barceloneta Outlets, approximately 30 minutes away.



Explore Old San Juan, approximately 30 minutes away, for historic sites, colorful streets, restaurants, and cultural experiences.



Hike Cerro Gordo State Park. The approximately 3 mile loop takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. For safety, hikers should follow the recommended trail direction and use a trail app such as AllTrails.



Getting Around:

GETTING AROUND AND PARKING



The property includes parking for up to 2 vehicles.



A rental car is strongly recommended when staying in Vega Alta. Many nearby restaurants, shops, beaches, and attractions are easier to reach by car, and rideshare services are not readily available in the area.

STARTER AMENITIES



At Balandras Luxury Stays, we want you to feel comfortable and at home throughout your stay.



All properties include freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach or pool towel per guest.



Starter disposable supplies include:



Body wash dispenser



Disposable toothbrush and toothpaste



1 razor per bathroom



3 garbage bags



1 roll of paper towels



2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom



1 bottle of dish soap



1 dish sponge



These are starter supplies and are not provided in unlimited quantities. Guests are responsible for purchasing any additional items needed during their stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. Please contact us up to 5 days before arrival to confirm availability.





CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES

Check in begins at 4:00 PM. Since this is a self check in property, you may arrive anytime after 4:00 PM.

If you would like an earlier check in, please contact us the day before arrival so we can confirm availability. When possible, early check in typically begins around 11:00 AM and depends on our cleaning schedule.



For guaranteed early check in, you will need to book the previous night to ensure the property is ready when you arrive.

Check out is at 11:00 AM. For late check out requests, please contact us the day before departure and we will be happy to check availability.





INSTANT AND LAST MINUTE BOOKING POLICY

Instant Booking is available for reservations made at least 2 days before check in.



For same day or next day reservations, availability depends on our cleaning schedule. You are welcome to send a booking request, but this does not guarantee the reservation. All requests must be reviewed and approved by our team.



Requests sent late at night may not be reviewed until the following day. Same day bookings are generally not accepted after 6:00 PM.

HOUSE RULES



NO SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will apply if this rule is violated.



NO PETS

Pets are not permitted on the property at any time. A $300 fine will apply if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum during these hours out of consideration for nearby residents and guests.



UTILITIES

In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses.

If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel their reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY

The maximum occupancy is 4 adults or children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT

Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without a refund.



TOWELS AND LINENS

Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to become stained with food, grease, or other substances. Additional charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING

Please do not hang towels or other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING

Subletting or re renting the property is not permitted.



PACK AND PLAY

A complimentary Pack and Play may be provided upon request.

Please request one when booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.



IMPORTANT POOL RULES

Pool hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Coolers, floaters, speakers, balls, food, and drinks are not allowed in the pool area.



Please use the pool responsibly and respect other guests using the shared space.

TRAVEL INSURANCE AND HURRICANE SEASON

We strongly recommend that all guests consider purchasing travel insurance, not only during Hurricane Season from July through October, but throughout the year.

Travel insurance may help protect you from unexpected situations such as travel delays, pandemics, trip cancellations, or other unforeseen events. Coverage varies by policy, so please review the terms carefully and choose coverage that meets your needs.
