The stay was better than expected. Excellent location! A walk from a casino and restaurants (if you don't want to drive). A 3 minute walk to the beach, a pool to lounge at which was not busy so you could easily relax, and a responsive host. Couldn't ask for anything more.

House was great and clean. Host was responsive and friendly! I would recommend adding a couple things to the listing. There’s no oven. (We grabbed 3 frozen pizzas on way to house and then couldn’t cook.) Stairs are very steep…I would be nervous with small children, especially since upper floor has no door and a rolling desk chair. I’d add for checking in clarification that there are walking gates and driving gates.

First of all, Tamara was the best communicator. She answered immediately and took care of any issues. The house has 3 levels - 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and one bedroom on the 3rd floor that was a very large loft with a en-suite bathroom. The air conditioning worked well on all 3 floors. The kitchen was well equipped but did not have an oven or toaster oven. Didn’t really affect our stay. The washer and dryer were fantastic. The beach is very close - walk took about 7 minutes. We found a better beach that was a 10 minute drive from the villa. There was good beach stuff available, paddles, some sun screen, beach toys and low beach chairs. The location was interesting; I would have preferred being closer to Old San Juan. But obviously that’s not the fault of the owner. There was a glitch with the remote gate opener and Tamara did everything she could to get it to work out. Overall, we had a great time and the villa met all of our needs.

This was my very first VRBO. I have to say that Tamara made my first experience a Great one. The host was extremely attentive. The home was so clean and all the amenities were exactly what we needed for our stay. I slept comfortably every single night. The hot water and pressure from the showers was amazing. Being so close to Dorado Beach was a blessing. When i visit again i will definitely be reach back out to Tamara for availability before i seek anywhere else.:)

I had 2 issues. 1st one was a camera that followed my every move when I walked out the door. Now I understand the camera for security but it got wierd when I was using the washroom on the 1st floor and clearly seen the camera through the window. So if I was sitting on the toilet it looks like the camera can record someone through the window reflecting off of the mirror. That camera should be moved. The 2nd issue was the air conditioner on the main floor. There was a bad smell coming from it. Started the night before we were gonna leave. I did reach out to the host and let them know about that. I didn’t say anything about the camera because I didn’t want to upset anyone with my thoughts on that. We just didn’t use that washroom after that came up in conversation.

I do want to clarify for future guests that the camera you mentioned is an outdoor security camera only — it cannot see inside the bathroom or inside the home at all, nor can it sense or track motion indoors. It is positioned to monitor exterior activity for guest safety and property security. I truly wish you had reached out during your stay — I would have been more than happy to explain or even disable motion alerts for your comfort. Regarding the AC, maintenance inspected the unit the very next day and did not find any mechanical issues, but we still completed a deep cleaning. I always encourage guests to share any concerns right away so we can address them immediately.

We were a group of four women. The property is very safe with a guard at the gate and security walking around. Beach across the street and the pool is beautiful. Very clean, beds and bathrooms very nice. Exactly as described. Hosts answered questions promptly and were helpful with recommendations! Try Kikita Beach House for wonderful food with a view. Old San Juan ia gorgeous and the people gracious. Condado lagoon- kayaking so fun! We ubered everywhere and the drivers were kind. We never felt unsafe.

Overall I was expecting a nicer location not so far back in the subdivision. The stairs were too steep and the kitchen lacked quality silverware, a blender, and toaster. The owner did replace the non-functioning toaster and supplied a blender and additional coffee. Accessing the keys and gate remotes was not an easy task, though the instructions were clear. Some doors did not close properly and the ceilings leaked water into the bedrooms. We did like the proximity to the beach and pool. The owners were friendly and most cooperative.

We wanted to clarify a few things for future guests—our keys are conveniently stored in a lockbox for easy access, and our listing includes an accurate map location of the villa to help with navigation. Regarding the silverware, our silverware is premium quality and durable, similar to what you'd find in a restaurant. As for the stairs, we understand that the three-level layout may not suit everyone, but it maximizes living space and comfort. Regarding the water leak, the area experienced heavier-than-usual rain during your stay. Our maintenance team is already addressing the source.
