Captain's Quarters - Deep Water dock

Summary:

Don't miss out on vacationing at this beautiful North - SSI home located on the Frederica River (deep water dock). The home is located in a private setting, back from the hustle and bustle of mid and south SSI. You are still about 15 - 20 minutes to all local attractions such as East Beach, pier village and Red Fern village.



This home has so many great features! It has 3 beds and 2.5 baths. The primary bedroom has King bed and ensuite bathroom while each guest room has a Queen bed.



The inside has large vault ceilings that have lots of natural light and views of the river. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a short or longer stay.



While the inside of the home is amazing, it's the outside that has the southern coastal charm you are looking for. You have a porch that overlooks the Frederica River and has rocking chairs for you to enjoy the sunset over the water. There is a private dock that is on deep water. You can dock your boat here.



The exterior of the home is adorned in rustic wood to give it a "cabin on the water" feel.



If your stay is between March 1 and October 31, you will receive a beach gear credit of $35/night for stays 3-21 nights. You can rent beach chairs, wagons, umbrellas, kayaks (which can be launched at the home) and much more!



The home comes with starter supplies to make your stay comfortable including toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and laundry pods. If you are staying for an extended period and expect to need more than start supplies, there are several stores close by!



Please note:



The home next door often hosts events such as private weddings. While they honor the local ordinance to have all loud noise cease by 10pm, you may hear the events going on. This is typically on Fridays or Saturdays. We have found that many guests enjoy it as they can sit outside and hear the band play!



Up to 2 dogs are welcome and must be under 60lbs each. There are some breed and size restrictions so please contact us before booking to inquire.

Pack N Play and strollers available upon request for $15 each for the duration of your stay. Please notify us at least 1 day in advance if you would like to rent them so we can ensure they are delivered prior to your arrival.



Please consider purchasing travel insurance for your trip. This may cover you for instances of medical emergencies or inclement weather. We unfortunately can’t offer refunds for these types of situations so we want to ensure you’ve properly covered yourself.



Anything other than a regular vehicle may be prohibited or may not fit on the property. If you plan to bring a trailer, motorcycle, boat or any other commercial or recreational vehicle, please inquire with the host about whether this is allowed.



Guests must be at least 24 years old to book this property.



After booking we do require a rental agreement and rental form to be signed in order to stay at our home. We appreciate the understanding on this as we want to protect all parties involved!



There is a $50 non-refundable processing fee that applies to all reservations.

Guest Access:

There is a private entrance with an electronic lock. You can check in anytime after 4pm, at your leisure.



The Neighborhood:

Quiet residential neighborhood on the north end of St. Simons Island.



Other Things to Note:

For any stay 60 nights or more, an additional $250 cleaning fee will be collected after booking. If the cleaning fee is unpaid 7 days before check-in, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without a refund.



For stays of 30 nights or more, we will collect a $750 refundable security deposit.



Linens are provided for your stay along with a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, body wash and laundry pods. They will not be replenished during your stay so make sure to bring some extras if you need!
