Welcome to the Butterfly House – our Harbor Club retreat—a family friendly luxury home built in 2022! The open-concept layout includes 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a multi-purpose room offering additional sleeping space all along the scenic meadow. You’ll be just steps from the new community indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub, a second outdoor pool, club house, and the marina. The sandy beaches are just a short walk or minutes by car away.

South Haven, MI:
South Haven offers beautiful sandy beaches, a charming walkable downtown, award winning wineries and breweries, and miles of scenic trails along the Kal Haven Trail. Visitors love its stunning Lake Michigan sunsets that frame the iconic lighthouse and pier, vibrant summer festivals, farm to table dining, local parks, and family friendly activities that make it an ideal lakeside getaway

The space:
Designed and furnished with your family comfort in mind. The large cozy great room with a gas fireplace overlooks the meadow with a new look every season features native grasses and wildflowers throughout the summer. The open kitchen is stocked with everything a home chef or entertainer would need, including a Moccamaster coffee maker, and a coffee grinder, and a Cuisinart thermos coffee maker for a simpler brew. There is a full set of pots and pans, dining service for 12, wine glasses and more. For the younger guests, there are silicone and bamboo plates and specialty cups. The adjoining dining room features comfortable seating for up to 10.

The downstairs also includes a multi-purpose room with plenty of games, kids toys, and a queen sleeper sofa. Outside on the patio there is a Weber grill and another dining table. There is also a community fire pit just a few steps away.
Upstairs, the primary suite offers a spacious retreat with a large soaking tub and a cozy seating area perfect for unwinding with a good book. Two additional bedrooms feature queen beds, while a fourth includes a twin over full bunk and a twin trundle. A second full bathroom provides generous storage, and the convenient upstairs laundry makes family stays easier. If you must combine work with pleasure, there is a small desk at the top of the stairs that offers a quiet spot when needed.

The Amenities:
The garage is stocked with beach necessities and toys, including a beach wagon, umbrella, chairs and a pop-up tent, and coolers. There is also an inflatable stand-up paddleboard with life vests available for guests to use. For days at the pool, there are pool toys, floaties, and diving toys. Other toys include adult and child size scooters, a tricycle, lawn games, balls and racquets. The house has two smart TVs, fast Wi-Fi and classic board games for evening or stay-in activities.

For families, the home includes a BabyBjörn bouncer, an infant bathtub, a dedicated changing table, and a toddler-friendly toilet seat. A Nuna travel crib can be used in any room. The family friendly amenities also include a highchair, a booster seat, and step stools in the bathrooms.
