Excellent location

Great clean condo within a 5 minute walk to Harbortown. Would definitely recommend this location however no pool with this unit so may be a little let down if your vacationing with kids

Great Stay!

We stayed in the hottest heat wave HH had in July. The wonderful air conditioning was so welcoming. Coming home to every day! We’ve been coming here, many years, and this location is our favorite. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, thank you!

Great Location

The property was in the perfect location between the start of the RBC Heritage golf tournament and Harbor Town. There were challenges with parking as we were given only 1 car tag that allowed access during tournament hours so all other cars had to park at a lot that was about 2 miles away. We were able to get the other cars after 7pm and keep them at the condo, but once they were parked, we had to leave them for the entirety of the trip. The condo had enough space for 6 adults, and the kitchen was well appointed.

Great location-quiet end unit

The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen needs a refresh and a gas grill IMO would be a bonus to the oversized beautiful back deck. We love to cook-even on vacation- it’s a minimalist kitchen. The carpet is stained in the upstairs area-just refresh with LVP through out. Overall a nice stay.

Girls weekend

Location and proximity to Harbor Town couldn’t have been better. We picked a very cold and rainy weekend so spent a lot of time inside watching movies. More cushions on the sofa and some throw blankets would have been great, but really, we picked a freakishly wet & cold weekend! The place was great and we’ll be back.

Great location!

Was lucky enough to find this place when booking a weekend trip. The price was good compared to others nearby. The location was excellent and walking to Harbour Town and the playground was easy. The big patio was perfect for enjoying the warm weather without baking in the sun. As others recommended, having a renter’s guide with info like where to find the trash cans would have been helpful as I didn’t know they were hidden in the front. There was also a spot for the pool access key but it was empty so we weren’t sure how to get in. Overall we’d recommend staying here.

This unit has been updated from the photos which was a pleasant surprise. New carpet, paint, all new furniture. 1 king, 1 queen and 2 twins. Perfect location, steps to Harbour Town!! Huge back porch and a well equipped, updated kitchen. We never could figure out where the pool was though (which was fine for us because my parents were across the street so we went with them). However, that might be something to clarify with Vacasa before your stay! We would definitely stay here again!!

Positives: Check in was a breeze. Plenty of supplies for our 2 night stay. The beds and linens were nice. We loved being able to park in front of our unit. Quiet area. Manager responded quickly and kindly to our concerns. Convenient layout and efficient Villa with all the necessities for a family stay. Negatives: The floors were dirty when we arrived but the manager responded quickly and had them cleaned. “Newly renovated” is a relative term. Like most beach locations with carpet, it’s worn and stained from high traffic. Upstairs bathrooms needed a few repairs and updates.

Great Location in Sea Pines

We rented for a week, overall it was a wonderful experience and we would rent again. The location couldn’t be more perfect for a family- close to playground, coffee& shops, the lighthouse and Gregg Russell family concerts. Layout is nice too with all the bedrooms upstairs. This is the perfect location if you are coming with young kids. Loved the patio and ability to eat outside with a table. We had a few small issues and Vacasa was VERY helpful everything was fixed immediately and they checked on us during our stay. They were incredibly accommodating. There is not a pool pass, but we used the south beach pool- it worked just fine, we just had to drive there and there was a small fee. The property could use some new carpet and could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly, we did let Vacasa know & they were very receptive. Overall it was a very nice stay, we are already checking for dates to come and stay again.

Great location, unit needs some TLC

Can't beat the location to the Harbor and the pool. The Beach Club is now making you (unless you have a handicap sticker or are a resident.. not just renting from a resident) park at the Golf Course, pay $10 and shuttle to the beach... alternate option is to take the trolley which has a stop at the pool. The unit has a bunch of stains on the floor, toilet downstairs is smashed and glued back together, holes in the ceiling, closet door and towel holder were broken as well. Upstairs floor is really creaky as well. A lot of great things about the unit, just seems like some people didn't treat it that well.

We do apologize for the state of the carpet - it was steam-cleaned last week and looks much better. Since your vacation with us the toilet, holes in the ceiling and towel bar have all been corrected. Unfortunately, we have no control over the Sea Pines parking fee; however, this is just applicable from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Nonetheless, we recognize the impact that this has had on your stay and apologize again for the frustration. We hope you give us the opportunity to provide you with a much better vacation on your next trip to the Island!

Dirty and outdated

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very dirty unit--inside and out. The entire living room carpet, hallway carpet and stairs capet were covered with dirt and stains. Further the living room red chair was grimey with dirt, attached together with duct tape. The couch had seen better days. The bed seriously sagged in the middle. The baseboards were covered in dust. We asked to change units but instead the rental company had a carpet cleaner come out to clean the unit. We asked for them to clean up the back patio, which was loaded with months of tree debris and pollen, but no one arrived to clean that. Also, the sliding glass door did not work--a handyman had to come out to realign the door and fiddle with the lock. He agreed that it needed to be entirely replaced. In addition, the ceiling fans were off kilter and did not work for us as they wobbled so much and made a ton of noise. Although the location was great, this unit needs serious upgrades and a major cleaning. It should NOT be on the rental market in this condition.

Okay, Not Great

We appreciated the location and parking. However, the overall accommodations were below average. Where to begin, the initial tone set by the property was disappointing. Upon entering the home after a full day of travel, we enter the restrooms which have 3/4 used toilet paper rolls, no soap and no hand towels. The cost to provide guests with fresh/new toilet rolls is not substantial and should be a standard for all property management companies. We had to scour the house for soap meant for showering to use in the restrooms. It is also important to note, the ceilings downstairs where duct work is leave little room for head clearance for individuals taller than 5’10. The primary bathroom and powder room have such little space, a tall adult with have difficulty using the facilities. When preparing for bed, we noticed the mattresses did not have mattress covers/pad- just a thin transparent sheet over the mattress. I also believe all pillows should have pillow covers, underneath the pillow cases, but have recognized this standard practice of hygiene is not followed at most short term rentals, however a mattress cover/pad is a basic accommodation that makes guest feel less “exposed” when sleeping in beds that are used by hundreds of guests throughout the year. Next, the carpet on the stairs and upstairs were heavily stained, mostly in circular patterns that would reflect a pet accident. The electrical work has not been updated and left us fumbling around the house looking for lamps to turn on, as light switches were not easily located and most rooms did not have overhead lighting. Overall, our stay provided us the basic needs of shelter, that is about it. We were grateful that aside from the carpet, the remaining areas of home appeared clean and furniture and decor were reasonable.

Hi Anne, thanks for staying with us! We are so sorry to hear you had issues with your stay. We wish we would've been notified to rectify some of these issues. The carpets are scheduled to be cleaned, linens are swapped out after every guest, and hand towels/towels are provided and set on each bed for guest. Sorry about the toilet paper, some housekeeping vendors leave the ones already in house and provide 2 more rolls per bathroom. Thank you again for this valuable information as we always welcome the opportunity to improve. We hope to have another chance to impress you on a future stay!
