Charming Lakefront Cottage Rental with Blissful Views near Toronto, Ontario

Take the whole family and group to this lovely lakefront cottage rental for an idyllic camping getaway near Toronto, Ontario. This delightfully decorated cottage has so much character and exudes warmth and old country charm with knotty pine throughout, and cathedral ceilings. The huge master bedroom is located on the second floor and boasts beautiful views, cathedral ceiling, and dormer. The second bedroom is situated beside the master with two twin-size beds. A spacious four-piece washroom with separate shower stall and an oversize tub is located on the second floor that overlooks the living and dining area from above.



The kitchen is well equipped for all those great cooks as it features a large center island with granite counters and Muskoka stone facing provides extra space for entertaining or light snacks. There is also a B/I Maytag oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a bar fridge, a freezer, and a central vac to complete the kitchen.



The cottage also has a two piece washroom that is located on the main floor for guests' convenience. A large rear entry to the cottage with ample space for coats and boots, plus a laundry area with washer/dryer and a sink is certainly a handy feature. The ground level also includes a third bedroom perfect for family members who do not want to tackle stairs. The sunroom is a TV room/game room also features a pullout futon—ideal as a kids room.



Relaxing in the living room, glampers can enjoy natural sunlight all day long with its southwest exposure and panoramic views of the lake, and pretty creek which runs parallel to the cottage. The living room is equipped with surround sound, satellite 46-inch flat screen TV, a stereo and plenty of movies for the kids, plus some interesting furniture pieces, not to mention many magazines and games to entertain all.



The lot is level with a sandy beach for small children, and when it is sunny all day, glampers can take the paddle boat for a ride around the quiet bay. Children must be accompanied by an adult with life jackets.



A large dock is located beside the beach with room for lawn chairs, or similarly, catch that big fish off the dock. A hammock at the water's edge is ideal for that afternoon nap. The screened in porch is ideal for bug season and lower tiered deck offers ample space for entertaining or just enjoying the views, even when it's raining or snowing.



The deck features a patio set for six people and includes two lawn chairs, four custom wooden Muskoka chairs and, of course, the deck would not be complete without the swinging bench. The kids will also enjoy the trampoline to the rear of the cottage but this can only be used by children.



A fire pit is located at the waters edge perfect for evening roasting of the marshmallows. Enjoy the amazing stars and on some occasions the northern lights.



There are two outdoor lighting systems, one to light the two tiered deck and the other to light the path down to the lake and fire pit area will extend glampers enjoyment into the evening.



The cottage was designed for year round use so there is a forced air heating system that will handle the coldest winter night while the wood burning fireplace may be all glampers need on those cold evenings. There is plenty of wood in the woodshed.



Parking space is available for three cars.
