“THE GREEN ROOM” @ PALM BEACH HOTEL. Serene, sun-drenched studio overlooking the heated pool and lush tropical gardens at one of the Island’s original Gilded Age hotels. This thoughtfully appointed room has private max-speed wifi, brand new AC, 100% cotton bedding/towels, 100% blackout drapes, large-item storage w/ onsite host, and 24/7 front desk. Only steps to beach, shops, cafés, museums, historic landmarks, and biking/walking trails all within three blocks. Parking is valet or metered, but no car needed at this prime location.
THE BED. Newly updated studio with brand new (2026) hotel-style ductless (PTHP) AC unit. Adjustable (remote controlled) queen bed with comfortable memory-foam topper to suit the firmness preferences of any guest. Bedding, duvet, and blanket are all 100% cotton for softness and breathability. Multiple pillow types and firmnesses provided; additional available upon request.
THE BATHROOM. Bright bathroom featuring a beautiful coastal blue tiled shower, Delta fixtures throughout including rain shower head and handheld wand, large mirror, PUREZERO brand shampoo/conditioner/body wash, shower bench, new ultrasonic rapid-dry hair dryer, and new hair straightener. Good water pressure, and hot water arrives almost instantly in this particular unit. Towels are 100% Turkish cotton. Gray microfiber facecloths for makeup removal also provided.
THE SITTING AREAS. Furniture in the sitting areas include a round table and two chairs, 70” convertible sofa (lays flat into a small bed suitable for small adult or child), large wingback chair, and entryway walk-in closet bench.
THE WET BAR. Wet bar or petite kitchenette features a stocked coffee/tea station with Keurig and Bodum appliances, large-capacity GE mini-fridge, GE microwave, handmade stoneware plates and bowls, 18/10 stainless steel cutlery by Kingstone, standard drinking glasses, stemmed wine glasses, and glass mugs. Plastic stemmed and stemless glasses, food containers, corkscrew, and large canvas cooler with reusable ice pack facilitate easy trips to the beach and pool without having to spend money on one-time use items.
THE WALK-IN CLOSET & DRESSER. For clothing and luggage, there is a six-drawer dresser and a large walk-in closet with nine shelves, hooks, and various hanger types. Closet also contains an iron, ironing half-board, handheld clothing steamer, and lint brush. Also included is a laundry bag, laundry detergent sheets, and over-door valet hooks for hanging clothing or drying items in the shower.
STORAGE. Host lives on site so ample complimentary storage can be arranged for larger items such as suitcases, strollers, golf clubs, etc. For an additional charge, this storage can optionally be locked. (You keep the only key to a large closet inside the host’s apartment upstairs in opposite wing of the building.)
TECH. Dedicated private max-speed Verizon internet/wifi serves this unit only. Enjoy AirPlay and Chromecast connectivity to cast from any of your devices on the 50” Samsung Smart TV preloaded with all your favorite streaming apps. Samsung Live also provides live cable-style channels including BBC News, Reuters, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, LIVE Fox News, ABC News Live, NBC News Online, CNN Headlines, MSNOW, and many other free TV and film channels.
BEACH GEAR. Enjoy use of the matching Tommy Bahama brand navy blue patterned beach umbrella with carrying bag and two backpack beach chairs in matching print. Also included as part of the beach kit are an assortment of quality men’s and women’s hats, a large sand-proof beach blanket, two 100% cotton beach towels, 70 SPF sunscreen, and as noted above, plastic cups/containers and cooler with reusable ice pack.
COMMON AREAS & BUILDING AMENITIES. Enjoy full access and usage of the mezzanine library/lounge, shallow heated pool suitable for wading or laps, peaceful sundeck surrounded by the lush tropical courtyard gardens, poolside lounge chairs, breezy shaded 200-foot-long outdoor loggia and Italian Revival arcade, and a 24/7 laundry room equipped with a dozen washers and dryers (pay per load via mobile app, WashConnect).
GUEST ACCESS
PARKING. Paid valet and metered street parking (pay via mobile app, ParkMobile; no charge after 5 PM) are both available on a first-come, first-serve basis only, but everything at this prime location is ultra walkable within a tiny three-block radius from the hotel’s main entrance. No car needed to enjoy everything around this perfectly located hidden gem!
BICYCLE RENTAL. Bicycles for rental are available by request through your host in advance, or can be rented upon your arrival on a daily or hourly rate via Palm Beach Bike Rentals.
SELF CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT 24/7. Guests enter the hotel-style lobby through the main entrance on the north side of Sunrise Avenue marked with a well-lit coffee-colored awning. Then walk into the main entrance to find the front desk just beyond the second set of sliding doors. Complete a quick check-in with the 24/7 front desk staff. You will be required to provide them with your name, a valid form of identification, and a contact phone number for you during your stay should they need to reach you. After signing a form to agree to comply with all building rules and regulations, you will be provided with the room number and access code for “The Green Room.” You’re in!

Please note, this property is located within the historic Palm Beach Hotel — a 1926 landmark property now operated as a condominium building NOT as a traditional ‘hotel’. Accordingly, standard hotel staff and services should NOT be expected as the historic legacy name may imply. Each unit is operated independently by its host. Hosts are either the owners themselves, like myself, or one of a handful of trusted property managers who each manage multiple units in the building.
EARLY & LATE CHECK-IN/OUT AVAILABLE. With the 24/7 front desk, early or late check-in or check-out is possible pending availability. Fees may apply in some cases to accommodate certain requests. Message me for details. Same-day bookings welcome at any time day or night.
QUIET HOURS. Quiet hotel-residence-style building. After 11 PM, only registered guests allowed. No unregistered visitors, no parties, and no events. Quiet hours strictly enforced 11 PM - 9 AM every day.
