Cheerful Rainbow Suite • Near NYC

Welcome to the Rainbow Suite, a bright, modern basement studio with a cheerful, open layout and clearly separated zones for sleeping, relaxing, and working. The sleeping area is semi-separated and does not have a door, so it is best for couples or small groups who are comfortable sharing one open space. The suite includes fast WiFi, a well-equipped kitchenette, and straightforward access to Manhattan.

Rainbow Suite is a renovated lower-level studio in a multi-unit home. The layout is open but thoughtfully divided: a sleeping nook behind a partial dividing wall, a cozy living area with a sofa and TV, a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair, and a small dining area that works well for meals or laptop time.

Getting to New York City
Located in Jersey City’s West Side / West Bergen area with convenient routes into Manhattan. Options include:
Light Rail from West Side Avenue to connect to PATH into NYC
Rideshare to Grove Street PATH or Journal Square PATH in just a few minutes
Commute times vary by time of day and traffic, but the trip is generally straightforward and budget-friendly.

Entrance and access
Guests enter through the green door into a small shared hallway. The pink door leads to a private stairway down to the lower level. At the bottom of the stairs, you will pass through a shared laundry area to reach the private entrance to your suite. Once inside the Rainbow Suite, the entire space is fully private and exclusively yours.

Laundry
A washer and dryer are located directly outside the suite entrance. These machines are shared and may occasionally be used by the upstairs apartment or our housekeeper during daytime hours, but they are easily accessible and convenient for longer stays.

Climate control
Baseboard heating throughout for steady warmth in cooler months
Mini-split system provides efficient cooling in summer and supplemental zone heating for personalized comfort

Parking
Street parking in this area can be very limited and competitive, especially in the evenings. Street cleaning occurs multiple days per week, and it can take time to find a spot.

Basement apartment: This is a lower-level suite in a multi-unit home. It is bright and fully renovated, but it is still a basement, so expect a few typical basement quirks.

Sound from upstairs: You may occasionally hear normal household noise from the apartments above (footsteps, doors, etc.). Nothing excessive, but worth noting.
