Thank you for acknowledging the cleanliness of our home and its beautiful Summerlin neighborhood. Our property is clearly advertised as a fully integrated smart home, featuring automated lighting, motorized blinds, curtains, and ceiling fans. A centrally located, wall-mounted iPad in the kitchen provides guests with convenient control of these features, including the ability to turn lights on and off throughout the home. We are disappointed that you found these features frustrating, particularly because you never contacted us for assistance during your stay. We would have gladly helped you understand and operate the system or addressed any concerns immediately. Unfortunately, the provided house instructions were not followed. Rather than requesting assistance or using the designated controls, you unplugged important smart-home equipment, disrupting the connected systems. These devices were not reconnected or restored before your departure, requiring additional maintenance, troubleshooting, and time to return the home to normal operation. Clear communication is essential to a positive guest experience. Had you reached out, we could have addressed your concerns promptly and prevented unnecessary disruptions to the home’s systems. We welcome constructive feedback and take guest satisfaction seriously. However, we also expect guests to respect the property, follow the provided instructions, and communicate concerns before disconnecting or altering equipment. Thank you!

The home’s smart features, lighting, televisions, and other systems are regularly maintained and tested. When you contacted us during your stay, we responded promptly and arranged assistance to address the concerns you reported. The issues described were not indicative of the home being nonfunctional, and assistance was provided to ensure you could use the features as intended. We take guest feedback seriously and will always address legitimate concerns quickly. We’re pleased to hear that, aside from your experience with the smart-home features, you felt everything else about the property was great.
