Inside, the home unfolds in a bright, open-concept layout designed for connection. The living, dining, and kitchen spaces flow seamlessly together, creating an easy setting for shared meals and laid-back evenings after a day in the sun. The dining table seats six comfortably, while the full kitchen is stocked with all the essentials you need to prepare beach-day breakfasts, fresh seafood dinners, and everything in between.
Step outside to your spacious first-floor balcony—an inviting spot for morning coffee, evening breezes, or simply unwinding between pool dips. Being on the first floor adds an extra layer of convenience, making it easy to come and go as you explore the grounds or head out toward the beach.
The primary bedroom features a queen bed and a calming coastal feel, offering a restful space for two. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and a full bed, comfortably sleeping four, and is ideal for families or friends traveling together. Two full bathrooms, each with a shower/tub combo, make getting ready effortless after a day by the water.
Beyond your front door, Island Retreat’s shared amenities elevate the experience. Spend your afternoons at one of two pools (complete with a rinsing station), challenge your group to tennis, pickleball, basketball, or sand volleyball, and take advantage of the charcoal grills and picnic areas scattered throughout the complex. Home Truths:
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- This HOA/Condo strictly prohibits pets of any kind, including Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). Service Animals, as defined by law, are permitted. If you plan to bring a Service Animal, please notify us in advance so we can inform the HOA. Important Note: If it is determined that the animal is not a certified Service Animal, eviction may occur. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- Be sure to inquire about discounted Winter Texan/Snowbird rates and long-term stay discounts!
- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. Services can be intermittent on an island.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.
- Please note that we do not provide a pack 'n play or a high chair, but guests may reach out to Baby Quip for baby items.
- Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.
- Washers and Dryers coin laundry are in the complex and available for guest use.
- Guests must be 25 years or older to book this home. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by an adult. Per HOA rules, any group without someone 25 years or older present is subject to eviction.
- Please note: During periods when city water restrictions are in place, rinse stations may not be available for guest use.
Parking Details:
- Parking passes required. 2 parking passes provided per condo.
- There is no assigned parking, so you can park anywhere within the complex.
- Boat parking is allowed in designated areas.
- Golf cart parking is allowed in designated area (you must purchase a separate pass).
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
