This was my first negative VRBO experience and my first negative property review. While the location is excellent—close to the beach, restaurants, and shops—that was the only aspect that matched the listing. We booked this home during a June 2026 baseball tournament nearby and looked forward to relaxing outside after long days at the ball fields. Instead, we found outdoor furniture that was filthy, rusted, damaged, and in some cases unusable. Normal weathering is expected, but unsafe, worn-out furniture should be replaced, and the listing photos should accurately reflect the property's current condition. They do not.Getting into the home was also frustrating. The front door and laundry room locks were difficult to operate, making our late-night arrival with tired kids unnecessarily stressful. Even locking the door for the night or when leaving is unnecessarily difficult.The interior was closer to the listing photos, with large rooms and TVs in every bedroom. However, the dining benches were stained and dirty enough that we chose not to use them.We reported these issues to management on the morning of first full day. They responded promptly and said the local team would address our concerns. I have ZERO missed calls, emails , texts, or voicemails from the “Local Team.” If you’re only looking for a bed and bathroom, this might work. If you’re looking for a property that matches the VRBO listing, customer service and an inviting vacation environment… This is Not It!
