We appreciate you raising the concern regarding the beach setup, as this can certainly be confusing. Vacasa does pay for a seasonal beach setup that includes two chairs and one umbrella. However, the beach service company is a separate entity from Vacasa and manages daily operations independently. While the setup is available on a first-come, first-served basis, the beach service company is permitted to charge additional fees for reserved or specific placement requests, which are outside of Vacasa’s control. We understand how this discrepancy between booking platforms can be frustrating. While our direct Vacasa listings clarify the first-come, first-served policy, third-party platforms such as VRBO do not always display the full or most current details.
