The Space:

This charming condo, located at The Islander complex on Holiday Isle, is just steps away from world-class white, sandy beaches. Right in the heart of Destin, you’ll have easy access to shops, restaurants, mini-golf, and the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. A host of onsite amenities, including direct beach access, an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and fitness center may keep you close to home. Start the day on your lovely, private balcony with coffee and an ocean view. Inside, you’ll find stylish, modern decor, an open floor plan, and lots of natural light thanks to the French patio doors. When you get hungry, the modern, updated kitchen features a full suite of stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, and there’s plenty of room for everyone at the large dining table.



After a day at the beach - with included beach service - rinse off in the outdoor shower and relax at home in the central AC. Grab a spot on the couch for a little TV or to upload the day’s pics to social media with the free WiFi. At the end of the night, two well-appointed bedrooms await. Drift off to sleep dreaming of your first - and next - perfect Destin day.

The check in was horrible because Vacasa didnt send my info to the property and when i called them they said I had to wait for a Supervusor to call me back, the Supervisor never called me back, The Islander had to call them. It was a very stressful process

Home away from home

The place was very clean and organized. Just be aware that the resort doesn't control this particular room. When I arrived I tried to check in a little before 4:00 and the attendant basically told me they have nothing to do with outside rooms and I would have to talk to whoever rented me the room. Ultimately received a text message and where to find a key to get in. Only received one key and had to reach out via text message to get another one which they did provide while I was out. Luckily I never had my car towed as I didn't receive a parking pass for the property. Another thing to be aware of is you can't access the property without a gate code to allow you to drive in. Basically you can't do anything until you get the text message with all the information so don't arrive early. The room itself though is very cozy and inviting. In summary, the initial check in was very confusing but once I got past that this stay was perfect

Graduation trip

This was a graduation trip for my daughter - she was graduating college. My husband and I took her and her husband on this trip. We chose this rental because it has two bedrooms each with a king size bed. However, only one room key was provided. The first day I called to request another one because two adult couples were staying there and would not be doing every thing together the entire time. I was told no problem I would hear back by the end of the day. We heard nothing. I called again the next day. Same response. Each day I texted and was told it was referred to the local team, escalated and I would have a response asap. I never received a call back from anyone. I gave up at the end of the week. It was very frustrating coordinating our day around the one pass for four adults. At the end of the week, we finally found a wrist band in one of the drawers and we tried that on the beach gate and it worked. This was not in any instruction in the room, was not relayed to us by management or left out for our use. We are regular travelers and we have never seen such poor customer service. It was very frustrating after looking forward to the trip for so long. The condo itself was as pictured and very nice. However, we would choose not to rent with this management company again.
