Arrive on Sunday evening:No outside light to see keypad to unlock entry door, an ongoing problemOne bathroom had no mirror Globe literally fell out of bedroom light fixture Monday…Construction, Construction, Construction, Noise, pounding, sawingConstruction vehicles4 JLG lifts for outside renovations making noise and obstructing view of pool and pondNoisy renovationsI learn that we cannot receive mail at Amalfi Coast. This is the first condo we have ever stayed in for over a month during a winter season that did not allow for mail and we were not advised in advance.10 days in:Still no outside light to see to unlock keypad on entry door after dark2 guys show up, announced, and spend afternoon in condo replacing kitchen light, installing oven hood and putting up bathroom mirror Same 2 [nice & polite] guys back next morning continued work in bathroom and kitchen. Couldn’t fix the globe that fell out of bedroom light fixture on day oneOutside Construction/noise continuesConstruction vehicle noiseHammeringIn the end:SOS every dayBen, the primary Vacasa rep that we dealt with was polite and helpful when he could but someone at Vacasa knew of the renovation work and never mentioned it. This reservation was made 11 months in advance. Amalfi Coast condo’s were deserted obviously because everyone but us knew about the ongoing construction. We should have been advised.
