Amazing spot, perfect beach!

We had the pleasure of staying during the 4th of July and we were able to watch over two hours of beautiful displays of fireworks. One of the top beach spots to boot! Most relaxing and enjoyable vacation in recent memory, looking forward to the next time.

Perfect Beach Location!

The location to the beach cannot be beat! The building is right across the street from the beach and the pedestrian bridge connecting the building to the beach is great! The unit is clean and has a great view of the ocean (so great to wake up to!). Use the beach chairs and umbrella on the beach, it is a great amenity. Would stay here again!

Wonderful Resort Condo

This property listing was exactly how promised. This condo has a great view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. I love the Royal Palms restaurant on the main floor. The food was amazing. This property has it all, that you won't need to drive around Miramar for anything.

I am sorry you did not like your stay. I strive for a perfect reputation and an immaculate condo. I cannot control the smell in the hallway and what people cook. Please let me know if there was anything I could have done to make your stay better. Surfside unique air conditioned interior hallways provide shelter from the elements and a quiet entrance and is a great feature of the building.

SurfSide and unit were as expected

Responsive owner but didn't really require anything from him. Fair price for nice unit in an aging but pretty well kept facility. We would recommend it.

Spring Break 2023 - Fun Time

Condo was exactly as described. The rooms, the kitchenette, the amenities, etc. The skywalk to the private beach area was awesome! The area is perfect for walks or bike rides. Mike, the host, was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. He was very accomodating of my needs/ requests. Better communication of the gate code as well as door code for the outdoor sports area would be great, but this is the facility not the host's procedure. Overall, we enjoyed a great stay.

Loved the Condo

We loved the condo! It was clean and very nice. Only a couple things I would say negative about the place. You might think of putting a dresser in the other bedroom, they only had a one in the bigger bedroom and on the listing it says on the beach. The condo is a cross from the beach but they have a walkover I guess that’s why it says on the beach. Everything else was excellent. I would sure stay there again.

Thanks for your recommendation for putting a dresser in the second bedroom, I will consider how to accommodate one there. Surfside is unique with its safe walkover access to the beach. You can watch the kids get on the beach from the unit. Thanks for staying.

Good Location, Could Use Some Simple Upkeep

Unit needs some TLC. Living room TV did not work, so we turned up bedroom TV while eating breakfast for local news and weather. Several deck chairs on balcony need replacing but since there were only two of us we did not have an issue. Glass shard in bedroom rug cut my foot, so cleaning should be more strict. Window blinds were missing several slats and slider door off kitchen was inop. Everything worked in kitchen, which was important to us. Showers were exceptional and venue was perfectly located for us. Pool was clean and well maintained.

Great stay!

This is our third time staying at Surfside. First time in this specific unit. We loved it. Master suite is huge. We really enjoyed having the washer/dryer in the unit (especially with the kids). Balcony has the best view and enjoyed sitting out at night. 2 of our 3 kids are teens and once we were beaches out for the day, they could still chill at the pool/hot tub area and we could still see them from our balcony area. The 2 chair and umbrella rental that comes with the room is so convenient. Rooms we’ve stayed at in the past did not have them included and we had to pay 45$/day rental for them! Overall great unit and great/prompt communication with the owner when we just had a question about the door code. Would recommend this unit to anyone!

Great location

The location was perfect. Room to beach chair in under 5 minutes. The pictures are spot on. The property was just the right size. Room was very clean. Full size washer and dryer in room are awesome. The beach and pool were not overcrowded like the bigger resorts. 2 beach chairs and umbrella are included. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge. The guest bed and bath also have a sliding door and beach view. We have 3 teenage boys and it was pretty tight but we made it work. We rented electric bikes from the resort next door. They were great to get around on. I would highly recommend these. The vertical blinds throughout the condo are a bit tricky to navigate. The 6th floor was perfect. You can easily sit in the balcony and see the kids at the pool. I had a question about the door code and the owner responded to my email within a couple of minutes. Overall I would rate this property as an excellent choice. Great location, clean and lots of activities near but quiet and not an overly congested area.

Great Beach

The condo was nice. Just a little dirty. In the master bathroom after showering, black stuff was coming up from the drain. As we checked in, the guy with the long hair was rude and very unknowledgeable. It rained one day so of course everyone was in the lobby wet, water was standing everywhere. I advised the worker at the front desk, someone was going to fall, but he didn’t care. The water remained all on the floor. On the 6th floor going to our room, something was leaking on the carpet. It was wet, I again advised the front desk, but no one ever did anything. The AC in the condo must have been on some timer, we would place it on 68 to 70 at night and we would wake up to it being in 85. It was very hot. This needs to be fixed. We would also lower it while at the beach, when we would return, it was back on 85. The condo was nice for the amount of time we spent there. It just needs some cleaning. Last thing, we had 5 people staying in the condo, if you have that amount definitely bring towels with you. We were washing towels everyday.

Thanks for your comments Kristi, first i apologize about the front desk staff. They do not work for me. I have passed your feedback to their management company. I have also shared your comments with the cleaning crew. I leave my number in the condo, you can always call me if there is anything not to your liking. The building manager did tell me they had a water problem in the building during july 4th week. Finally, there is no timer on the thermostat. Perhaps its going bad, i will replace it. Again appreciate your feedback so we can continuously improve our value. Mike

High rise Miramar condo

Outstanding view of the gulf from the large patio. Large master bedroom and small guest bedroom with a bath for each. Fully equipped kitchen. Very busy area adjacent to a beautiful beach. A few close restaurants within walking distance and close to an outlet mall. Owner was easy to contact if there were questions or problems. So happy we were allowed early entry and did not have to wait in line with 30+ families checking in at 4:00pm.

Had a great time! Room was great, good views comfortable beds, quick operating elevators. Room needs better cooking pans, too small for making meals. Also didn't like the blinds..curtains would be so much easier to use and block out sunlight in early morning. Restaurant is fabulous, sooo delicious. Bar on the beach is also added fun!

It was a Birthday/Vacation

The condo and owner were great to work with. The condo we stayed in was nicer than the pictures showed and the view was breath taking. We definitely enjoyed our week there. The fact that we received comp chairs/umbrella at the beach the whole week was great and help out tremendously. If we come back to Miramar Beach we will definitely stay here and with the same owner. The check in and out process was so easy and quick. The only complaint I had was the parking garage was small so if you have a large vehicle it takes a little bit of skills.
