The house itself was great. Old, but very nicely kept. A few of the blinds are broken, two windows have cracks that are taped. The hallway shower is tiny! When I arrived, my access code did not work. I waited two hours for someone to come, they never showed up so I called again. The second person I talked to said I had not paid my full balance and that’s why my code would not work. My check-in date was June 7, my card had been charged the second payment on May 11. Vrbo was on the line and took over and was able to explain that I would not have been given a code if I was not paid in full. There is a small efficiency on the property that I was told would not be rented to anyone because I had rented the main house. I was told they would only rent it to me if I wanted. On Tuesday June 9, a gentleman showed up renting that efficiency. When I got in touch with Avari management, they at first told me that no one should be there then turned around and said just the opposite. I actually had a second renter after that one left.My biggest issue was parking. My group had six cars there, which I was told I could have up to six. Luckily, both tenants in the efficiency were great people and it posed no issue. And, by the way, the second tenant in the efficiency had issues with their access code and payment issues with Avari!I will not rent anything from Avari management again.
