Punt Vierkant, der See, Angel City und sogar das berühmte Wrack der Hilma Hooker liegen buchstäblich direkt vor Ihrer Tür. Von Ihrer Strandterrasse mit privatem Pool genießen Sie fantastische Sonnenuntergänge, die von Flamingos und Delfinen oft nicht gewürzt werden.

Das Anwesen befindet sich nur 10 Minuten von der Stadt oder dem Flughafen entfernt und ist dennoch weit weg vom Lärm und der Hektik von Touristen, Flugzeugen und Kreuzfahrtschiffen. Lac, einer der Windsurf-Hotspots der Welt und spektakulär schöne Ökosysteme, Lac, und der ebenso berühmte Kite Beach sind nur 10 Autominuten entfernt.

Diese exklusive Lage am Meer verfügt über einen eigenen Strand und eine Auswahl der beliebtesten Tauchplätze von Bonaire direkt vor dem Haus. Die luxuriöse Villa ist gepflegt und auf höchstem Niveau ausgestattet und umgeben von einem kleinen, üppigen und farbenfrohen tropischen Garten mit ausreichend Parkplätzen.

Die sehr geräumige Villa besteht aus drei Etagen und bietet bequem Platz für acht Erwachsene in vier klimatisierten Schlafzimmern mit drei Bädern. Die Villa wurde speziell entworfen, um die allgegenwärtige karibische Brise durch das gesamte Innere strömen zu lassen und eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Alle Türen, Fenster und Fensterläden sind durch Moskitonetze geschützt.

Der Zugang zum Strand und Meer ist von der Terrasse aus. Es ist buchstäblich nicht mehr als drei Schritte vom Meer entfernt, so dass die Tauchplätze für alle Altersgruppen leicht zugänglich sind. Das Haus ist mit einem Notstromaggregat bei Stromausfällen auf der Insel ausgestattet.

Beautiful home and location! Diving and snorkeling onsite. Kittie was so quick to respond to requests and any issues during our stay. All the bedrooms have air conditioning which was much needed. The common areas had great ocean breezes but it does get warm mid day. We had an ant issue but Kittie was quick to try to resolve it. The ocean views were breathtaking!

Awesome Oceanfront Villa

We had a great time at Casa Esmeralda! Kittie and Jan were excellent hosts and the villa was exactly as pictured. The views were spectacular with regular sightings of dolphins and flamingos. The pool and pool table were very relaxing and enjoyable and the snorkeling directly from the villa was fantastic. The villa and recommendations from the hosts really made our vacation wonderful!

Beautiful spot in quiet location

We had a wonderful time during our stay. It is south enough out of town so it is a bit quieter than other locations. We had wonderful snorkeling/scuba right out our door with lots of turtle sightings along with a big spotted eagle ray! Kitty and Jan made checkin/out very easy and answered any questions promptly. The top floor bedroom has an amazing view of the ocean but the bottom floor has none as to be expected. We also played pool/billiard almost everyday!

Excellent Family Vacation

This was our first trip to Bonaire with our 1 year old grandson. We took turns watching him while others dove. It was a great spot for the family. The pool was key. It had shade in parts of it during most of the day which was very nice for a baby. I did several dives off back - the easiest way to get in was to go through the adjacent (empty) lot. I used the back rinse area basically to rinse off sand but used the rinse tanks at Belmar (Buddy Dive) to clean the gear each day. There are 2 closer shops (Flamingo and Dive Friends Bonaire) that would be a little more convenient to this house. (I didn't do enough research prior to the trip.)

Exceptional!!!

We had a truly wonderful week at this beautiful property - Casa Esmeralda! Everything was as described. The hosts were absolutely lovely, friendly, responsive, and proactive (addressing a "pump" issue before we even knew it was an issue.) The hosts even brought us some fresh Wahoo that they caught during our stay - all cleaned and ready for the grill. It was delicious. The location is great for snorkelling and diving (Flamingo Dive Shop is walkable from the house, as is a fun casual restaurant/resort - Ocean Oasis). It's also close to everything but totally secluded from the neighboring houses. You never even see the Cruise Ships except at night as they are leaving the island! The reef out in front of the property was great for snorkelling and there is an easy access point into the water at a beach less than 1/4 of a kilometer south of the house (called "The Lake"). Fantastic holiday!

Beautiful location for a family diving and snorkeling trip

We had an absolutely wonderful trip to Bonaire at Casa Esmeralda, communication on our arrival was easy and the timing of check in was great for the arrival time of flights to the island. We were 7 family members including 2 children and we all had an amazing time. The house was very comfortable with plenty of space for us to spread out inside and outside, with welcome shady spots to enjoy the outdoors as well as the pool, and the view of the stars from the house was great. The house also was very well equipped with snorkeling equipment and other water toys. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked very well when we used it at night. It was our first time shore diving and proximity to many of the best sites in the island was incredible, with one site right off the back of the house and many others a 5-10 minute drive or less, with a slightly longer drive to the northern sites (we saw turtles, octopus, tarpon, a spotted eagle ray, eels and more--both on snorkel and diving outings). We utilized Flamingo Diving which is essentially next door. The sand beach by the Kite City Food truck was about a 10 minute drive and perfect for the kids to play and snorkel, with a reef teeming with eels and fish a short walk or swim away from the beach. We ended the trip with a sailing trip through Solobon sailing, highly recommend them as well. Only recommendation is we only had one four wheel drive car, recommend only getting those as to go to the national park in the north it's needed.

This was the best VRBO rental I’ve experienced. Kittie, the host, was accommodating, gracious and available. The home was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. Wonderful modern home

I cannot say enough about Jan and Kittie. They answered every question we had within minutes, provided references for all activities, restaurants and were very friendly. The house was in a wonderful location for those who like to be close to town but not in the bustle of it. The snorkeling and diving were great at the house and there were several great sites very close. The house itself was great and the layout provided privacy for everyone with the three levels. I would definitely rent this house again in the future. Really wise we could have stayed longer.

Amazing oceanfront paradise

The villa is central to everything. The views are spectacular . You are less than 10 minutes away from the airport. The owners were always available if we had any questions. The villa is one of the best places you can stay at in Bonaire. Jan was very nice and took care of us even when there was a minor miscommunication with the booking. We will definitely come back to this villa. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Place!

We came to Bonaire with some friends for a diving trip. Two with us did not dive, but there is plenty to do to keep everyone as busy as they would like. The house was very open with great breezes throughout. We all spent most of our time on the deck and pool area overlooking the ocean; so relaxing! We were able to dive right off the property. Jan, the property owner was exceptionally helpful and available any time we needed. We will be back!

5 stars for our stay at Esmeralda

Our family of 8 was so pleased with our week at this property! The house is spacious & airy, with air conditioning in each bedroom. Beds were so comfortable, and linens and towels plentiful. Outside area & views were our favorite though! We dove just a short swim out to Punt Vierkant and the reef was beautiful & sealife plentiful. The pool was just the cool off that we needed, although the continual breeze was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked with new looking pots & pans & we did cook in several nights Jan was available when needed. He provided excellent tips for grocery trips & restaurants. Unfortunately we were not able to stay a final night, but Bettina had suggested a small resort just down the road. It was wonderful as well, but we preferred having our privacy & personal home for the week. They also recommended a dive shop for our daughters and sons in laws to become PADI certified. Shout out to VIP Dive shop and Trinity for taking such good care of them! Only word of caution is that Bonaire does have small biting insects, so take care to shut screen doors and use bug sprays (which were included). Also, at times we were subjected to tiny jellyfish stings, so wear a rash guard shirt if you want to avoid them. If this sounds like the house for you, book it! You won’t regret it!
