Our home features modern and well-equipped interior spaces situated in a peaceful and private setting on a private drive with speed limits of 10mph and only 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping.

Our Guest Nest is a shipping container house that was thoughtfully constructed in an effort to create unique but low profile vacation rental for visitors to Wilmington, NC area. The Guest Nest offers plenty of privacy and lots of space to spread out and relax during your stay. We offer 2 decks with plenty of shade and free parking.
The Guest Nest space measures 320 square feet and is comfortable inside and out.

This was by far my favorite VRBO stay. Cindy& Mike were amazing host. Everything is only a 15/20 min drive from The Cape or The Ocean.The property was outstanding and they were very hospitable and kind .We are already planning to stay again in the future.

Adorable little home! Perfect for me and my 2 kids. The bed was super comfy!! Had pretty much everything we needed, except washer and dryer but that is under-stable given the limited size. Love the private road! Recommend.

First, Cindy is amazing! Very welcoming and cane out to greet me. This little place was exactly what I needed for my weekend getaway to Wilmington. The location is perfect. Close to both downtown and the beaches. The place was near spotless when I arrived and very cool inside temp wise. I would give it more than 5 if I could. I will definitely stay there again when I make my way back to Wilmington! Thank you Cindy for an excellent weekend!!!!

Host is super nice however there are some issues to be addressed…Upon taking a shower the ventilation for the toilet seems to be not ran properly. Smell of fecal matter fills the entire unit. During shower water turns cold within thirty seconds and then it has to be turned all the way off for like thirty seconds while you stand there waiting. Found a Cockroach crawling on bed and of probably brought me roach traps to put out….Will never use VRBO again. Host failed to deal with issues

This guest mentions 3 issues of concern from him which are all new and never had complaints before in these areas. Our plumber was here 2 months ago to empty tank so he checked things and said all is fine. I’m not sure where septic gas would be coming from but will have him come back out. Guest never mentioned this to us during his 3 day stay but only complained after checkout and asking for full refund. Our hot water tank is a water on demand and heats well with propane. Will also have plumber look at this though, but again no other complaints. The “roach” situation is questionable because guest captured it and took it outside. I looked and what I saw was a palmetto bug that does come from coastal locations. I’ve only seen one but did buy traps at guest request and he offered to set them. We addressed every issue that was brought to our attention during the time of stay but the other ones ( water temp & ventilation) were never mentioned until after checkout and email was received.

Cindy and her family have made an amazing and affordable place for families. The Quaint Container is the perfect spot. It was so clean and perfect. She and her family are personable, helpful, and kind. We will definitely be back. I would rate it 100 out of 10 if I could. There is no laundry on site to do, the kitchen has an air fryer and microwave, a mini fridge and freezer, fans, ac, and the porches. It was EXACTLY how described. Amazing place and Amazing people!

We were travelling by car from Florida to Pennsylvania and needed a place to stay to break up the drive. We stopped in Wilmington for a day to see the Battleship North Carolina. I have had some interests in mini homes and container homes, so this was a perfect opportunity to see what it was all about. Turns out it was pretty darn cool. Location is quiet, Sheetz 24hr market really close by, and pretty much near just about everything. It was a calm, clean, and cool (it was hot outside!!). Cindy and her husband (our hosts) invited us to stop by that evening. So I did. I met some good folks. We told stories and laughed and had a really good time. I would definitely stay again. Honestly, if I was passing through Wilmington, I'd stop just to say hello.

Me and my wife loved this spot. We only stayed for a 3 day weekend get away for her birthday and knew she wanted to go to downtown Wilmington and the beach and this location was absolutely perfect for a great in between spot to choose to go to downtown Wilmington for food and fun and the beach for an all morning/all day stay. This container turned guest nest had exactly everything we needed for just the 2 of us. It was clean, check in process very easy, quiet and peaceful, and great couple nights of relaxing sleep! We definitely plan to stay at this location again when going to Wilmington in the future. Loved it!
