The Artist's Cottage exceeded our expectations! We spent 4 nights in Wilmington for UNCW transfer student orientation and move-in for my daughter and the home's location was perfect for exploring the area during the 2 "free" days we had... 15-20 minutes to the beach, downtown or campus. The cottage is quaint cozy with all the comforts of home. I loved all the artwork and fun decor and the garden screened in porch were dreamy. We will definitely look to stay at the cottage again for future visits!

Absolutely the best yet! The Artist's Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean, well outfitted, and an absolute delight. The artwork and all the "crafty" touches, including well placed antiques, make you feel right at home! Conveniently situated with easy access to city center in Wilmington, two beautiful beaches (don't miss the sunrises), shopping, and restaurants. The Artist's Cottage is all that the host says it is and so much more! This jewel of a hideaway wraps you up like a warm blanket. The icing on the cake is Patti, your incredible host. She makes it easy to check in and out and has fitted the Artist's Cottage with everything you need for a quick get-away or a long and leisurely vacation. Perfect for singles and couples. I will definitely be returning to this jewel!

This was the perfect little cottage for our anniversary! It was clean, cozy, and had everything you could need for your stay. The garden and landscaping is beautiful, and my husband and I got to spend peaceful quality time together. It’s close to many activities and attractions in Wilmington while still being tucked away for privacy. Will stay again if we’re in the area!

The owner has thought of everything when she filled this adorable cottage! From cereal, ramen noodles, chocolates, beach towels, games, movies, crafting things and the perfect art work on the walls! There was a drop cord, too!!! It is so peaceful and we enjoyed a nap on Saturday before our event we came to Wrightsville Beach for. I even loved the little gifts the owner left for us to choose!!! I have mine beside my bed at home!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cottage!!! We will for sure come back again!!!Sharon & David W

The Artist’s Cottage was a true retreat — a wonderful place to escape for a few days for a creative recharge. The home and gardens were so beautiful, and Patti truly thought of everything. I loved the art supplies, games, crochet and knitting materials — I didn’t turn on the TV once during my stay. I wish I had booked a longer stay; it was so relaxing. I’d love to return.
