The location was perfect for what we planned. View was magnificent.

Condo was very comfortable and clean upon arrival. Views were spectacular. The l beach is perfect for morning walks. We would definitely recommend this unit.

Excellent views and great amenities

We had a pleasant stay for a week here and loved the great ocean views. Amenities in the house were great but the Internet could be better. WiFi coverage and speeds were just mediocre. We also had some tiny ants around the home the first couple of days and then they disappeared.

Hello Rajesh! I'm surprised to hear about your connectivity issues since this unit has 150mbps internet, but we will mention it to the owner. We do apologize for the ants. We are proactive about regularly spraying for pests, however the ants are a seasonal issue and we hope they didn't put too much of a damper on your stay. We enjoyed being able to use the binoculars in the unit to watch the dolphins, birds and passing ships. We even saw the Goodyear blimp! The unit also provided beach items, like chairs and toys and umbrellas. It was a very good experience overall. I would stay again.

Most Relaxing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed a full month of February at this location. Clean, spacious, comfortable and amazing views of the ocean and beach! Parking (2 spaces) is so convenient and accessible. Unit had all the necessary accommodations for our stay. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a plus! Plenty of space for clothes with a large dresser and walk in closet. King size bed was comfortable with additional pillows and blankets available if needed. Did I mention how outstanding the view is?! WiFi in bedroom is weak throughout the month, but ok everywhere else. Access to pool, hot tub and beach was excellent! The 100 steps to the beach provides for a great workout! Stubbs was responsive to a couple of gate entrance access issues. Loved this place and will be returning for a month in 2023! Can’t wait!

Oceanfront Wonder

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nothing better than waking up in the morning and walking into the living area to see the ocean as your front yard! Floor to ceiling windows frame the Pacific Ocean! Enjoy watching surfers and dolphins right in front of you. The corner, one bedroom condo is comfortable and the kitchen is sufficiently equipped. My wife and I rented this unit for the entire month of March 2023 (as well as February 2022) and we’re not disappointed. Two parking spaces provided and you could not ask for more convenient spots very close to the condo entrance. Right next to the pool and hot tub which were frequently utilized. Only issues experienced were dirty side window which could not be accessed the entire month due to an exterior plumbing project, and the pool access gate leading to the steps going down to the beach was chained for 3 of the 4 weeks (no work was done the entire 3 weeks to fix the gate lock issue).

The property was clean and the views were amazing. Parking was easy as well, with great convenient access to the unit. I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub access from my unit being so close by - it made for a very relaxing stay having that option in addition to my unit. My only complaint is the food storage options available within the unit itself. With a long term rental + kitchen/grill available, it goes without saying that the renter will likely purchase their own food to make at home. However, there was no tupperware, ziploc storage bags, etc to be able to store any leftover food. For any limited tupperware that was there in the unit, the lids did not match so none of the food storage tupperware options even worked for storing leftovers. My recommendation is to invest in some basic food storage options for future guests. Otherwise, the property had everything else that was needed. It was a great stay overall.

Reviewer Comments: This property is a real find for anyone seeking an oceanfront rental in a quiet condo complex that’s walking distance to Solana Beach and Del Mar. The unit is located on a bluff overlooking a stunning beach with a panoramic view of the coastline as well as a popular surfing site.The condo is surprisingly larger inside than the photos make it appear with a spacious master bedroom and a wide open kitchen area. Floor to ceiling windows bring in ample light. The property was tidy and clean upon our arrival with sanitized sheets on the bed and a large supply of fresh towels at our disposal. In terms of the amenities, we appreciated the large screen TVs and the new LG appliances (refrigerator and stacked washer/dryer).The pull out bed in the living room is extremely comfortable (solidly constructed with a firm mattress), while the mattress in the bedroom is softer, which could be problematic for anyone who needs max support for a good night’s rest.We were very happy with our rental. These improvements would make the property even nicer: 1) replace shag carpeting in the bedroom with new carpeting; 2) update utensils and dishes in the kitchen; 3) replace the mattress in the bedroom with a new, firmer mattress; 4) install a new shower head with better water pressure; 5) Boost the internet and phone reception for a better connection.We would definitely rent this condo again with new carpeting in the bedroom to freshen up the room. The existing shag rug is a little dingy.

This particular unit has a fantastic location and is as nice as described. Can’t beat the ocean view - I sit out on the balcony at all hours. Stubbs provides a nice set of starter supplies in the kitchen and bathroom, and the unit was clean when we arrived. Del Mar Shores Terrace is next to the stairs to the beach, and this year the city funded a beach expansion project that doubled the width of the beach, so you can walk the beach even at high tide. There are lots of good restaurants at different price points nearby. Our favorites are Pizza Port, Bangkok Bay Thai,, Tony Jacal Mexican, and The Brigantine for drinks and apps. We plan to keep returning in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Could not ask for a better place to stay, everthing was better then expected and had a beautiful view. Stubbs was responsive and available if needed and very nice. Would definitely stay here again!!

The location is great, view is perfect and the underground gated parking was unexpectedThe unit is nicely equipped and the pictures are very accurate. The complex is older, however the unit is fairly well updated. Heating system is a bit old but worked wellWill definitely stay at this location again
