Diese luxuriöse Wohnung befindet sich in Solana Beach auf den Klippen über dem wunderschönen Pazifik. Nur wenige Blocks von der weltberühmten Rennstrecke und dem Messegelände Del Mar entfernt.

Der Del Mar Beach Club ist ein privater Komplex am Meer. Diese komplett eingerichtete Wohnung bietet Platz für 4 Personen - das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über 2 Einzel- / Einzelbetten. Wir sind für 5 Personen zugelassen, haben jedoch kein zusätzliches Bett für die 5. Person. Alle Geräte in der Küche sind aus Edelstahl und Granit. LCD-Flachbildfernseher mit Kabelfernsehen und DVR-Anschluss, damit Sie keine Ihrer Lieblingssendungen verpassen. Fernseher in jedem Schlafzimmer. WIFI High Speed Internetanschluss inklusive. Sie haben einen zugewiesenen Parkplatz. Kann auf Anfrage einen zweiten zugewiesenen Parkplatz zur Verfügung stellen. Questparken ist mit einem Questparkausweis möglich. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und Trockner in voller Größe in der Einheit für Ihre Bequemlichkeit.

Wenn Sie vom Strand kommen, gibt es ein Clubhaus / eine Lounge, die sich auf dem Weg zurück zum Gerät im Erdgeschoss befindet. Der Club House / Lounge-Bereich verfügt über ein Badezimmer mit einer Warmwasserdusche im Flur. Das Club House / Lounge blickt auf das Meer und verfügt über einen großen Kamin in der Mitte zum Faulenzen und Beobachten der Sonnenuntergänge.

Schneller Zugang zum Strand:
Nur wenige Schritte von der Unterkunft entfernt befindet sich eine private breite Treppe, die in die Klippe führt und zum Strand führt, der aufgrund des eingeschränkten Zugangs viel privater ist.

AUSSTATTUNG:
Oceanfront Swimming Pools 2 davon auf der Bluff und ein weiterer Pool auf der anderen Straßenseite auf der Nicht-Strandseite. Es gibt auch einen anderen Pool, der das ganze Jahr über beheizt ist, direkt neben unserer Wohnung, der auch eine große Sauna und einen Innen-Whirlpool für 7 Personen, ein Badezimmer mit Duschen, einen Grill und einen Fitnessraum (nur ab 18 Jahren) bietet. Im Büro vor Ort müssten Sie ein Verzichtsformular unterzeichnen und 50 USD einzahlen. 00 für den Schlüssel, der bei Rückgabe des Schlüssels erstattet wird). Es gibt 2 Tennisplätze (Sie benötigen auch eine Kaution und einen Schlüssel aus dem Büro vor Ort). In der Nähe gibt es Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Restaurants, Banken und viele gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

ANSICHTEN
Komplex sitzt auf der Klippe mit fantastischem Meerblick, indem Sie am Pool sitzen oder auf dem Aussichtsdeck, nur wenige Schritte von der Wohnung entfernt. Genießen Sie auch den Blick in das umzäunte Clubhaus / Lounge mit Blick auf den Ozean, auch nur wenige Schritte von der Wohnung entfernt. Diese Wohnung hat keinen Meerblick

We have stayed 3 times in this general area of Solana Beach and this location has the best and easiest access to the beach and a great viewing area for the beautiful sunsets. Kim the host was very quick to respond to any questions. The place was exactly as described in the listing. The bedrooms are a fair size, the master bath is a bit cramped but fine, linens, towels, soaps are all provided, the kitchen has lots of plates, dishes, cups and appliances. We did notice whoever does the cleaning between renters needs to do a better job, there was some dust and lots of human hair all around the bathroom sink and tubs which were easily washed away. I also borrowed some cooking utensils to use for our stay from our daughter since the ones there were a bit old and the plastic spatula was melted. Again, this is not a big deal for us. Parking for our car was just around the corner from the front door, we were able to see the car from the dining room. Being right next to the pool was a little noisy but that was no big deal. The bedrooms are on the opposite side of the pool on one of the main streets in the complex. There was a bit of car/truck noise in the morning from the garbage truck making its rounds and the construction vehicles that would pull in to do the work on the buildings roofs. There was a lot of construction going on and scaffolding all around some of the buildings and it would have been nice to have known about it. Overall, a great place to stay and we would do so again.

Wonderful place - even nicer than the pictures!

We had a great time during our almost three week stay in Del Mar. The property was great - clean and functional! We were close to the steps down to the beach (though that is trek!) and the beach is amazingly clean and quiet. We would absolutely stay at this property again - thank you again for hosting us!

Perfect for couples or small family

Beautiful unit and complex. Location was convenient to restaurants, shops and the 5 fwy to get anywhere.The unit itself was very clean and offered many amenities. Only missing shampoo and soap for shower and a hair dryer. Would definitely look at renting again for future visits.

Great location and comfortable

Kim’s condo was very comfortable and in a wonderful location. We truly enjoyed the quick beach access and super close proximity to the pool. The beach was fantastic and never crowded. Great family times. The condo had great internet access which allowed me to work virtually for part of our stay. Highly recommend and would stay again without hesitation :-).

Nice size condo, well stocked. We enjoyed how close it was to Del Mar Race track since this was the main reason we were visiting. FYI, there are a lot of steps to get to the beach but the beach was very uncrowded and nice.

The place did not seem like it was clean between tenants. All the glass tables were dirty, top and under. Windows look like they haven't been cleaned in years. They really need invest a tiny bit of money into fixing this place up. Rugs in the bathrooms were tattered and heavily stained. The master bed is falling apart and leveled with books. Need to clean under the bed and other furniture. Cupboards were unusable. We cleaned the counters and stored our pantry items on the counter. Anything we used that was in a cupboard we washed first and then stored on the counter.

Wonderful condo in great community in Solana Beach

What a great little place! When we arrived, I was surprised to find that it was so much nicer than it appeared in the photos. The owner is very responsive and super nice. The unit is right next to the pool, you can see it from the dining room. I hopped in the hot tub every morning. There are two beautiful ocean-front pools. It's literally just a few steps to the stairs to the beach, which feels private and the waves are excellent for boogie boarding and body surfing. There were lots of surfers, too. There's a huge deck with nice deck chairs and benches for watching the sunsets. Lots of friendly people around. There is no AC in the unit and we were there in hot, hot July, but there were several fans that we situated to keep the air circulating and it was fine. Close to the freeway, very easy to get to and close the shops on Cedric. We had a beautiful, relaxing time with our little family of four. Thanks, Kim!!!!

Mostly Just Ok

Overall, I would rate this as just an average vacation rental. The beach club, access to the pool and access to the beach are fantastic, but the condo itself was not great. To begin with, the Del Mar Beach Club is a quiet spot, and the beach was great and pretty private/quiet as well. There are a lot of steps to get down the cliff, but you can see those in the pictures so that was fine. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the beach from the condo. The beach club is right by the Del Mar race track, and traffic was very congested due to an event there. The pool is right outside the back door from the condo and again was never very busy. We enjoyed that. Things we didn't like: The check-in instructions we received from Homeaway were apparently not the instructions the manager expected us to get. A few phone calls upon arrival (she was very helpful) got us in, so it was only a mild irritation. The condo itself smells very musty/damp. We opened windows and ran fans the whole time we were there and it helped a little, but not much. There were lots of little things that just show a lack of attention to detail throughout; I won't list them all but there were enough for us to notice. The wifi was a constant struggle; kept having to reset it to get signal and even then you wouldn't get it out in the living room, only back in the master bedroom where the router is located. We've stayed at many Homeaway/VRBO places, and every other place there has been some sort of note/instruction out on a counter or table for you to help explain the rules and also welcome you to your vacation rental. In this case, we had to search through the drawers and found a stack of old papers and the instructions for check-out were somewhere in the middle of the stack of paper. In the end, we enjoyed the location and access to the beach and pool, but the rest was average.

Thank you for the review. I am not sure where the confusion was on the check-in instructions. The property manager, Kim, emailed detailed check-in instructions through the VRBO/HomeAway website and they are posted on the hospitality site just in case the guests wants to read them before they get them from the manager. We don’t mail these instructions because our guests all communicate now electronically, which is quicker and more efficient. We used to provide a notebook with all the instructions at the unit but it kept disappearing and the feedback we received is that our guests preferred to have all the information online so that they can look it up anytime, anywhere. But if checking the VRBO/HomeAway hospitality site and email is difficult for a guest we would be happy to mail them to the guest if requested. Connectivity can be an issue due to guests coming from all over the world using all kinds of different devices and sometimes guests have trouble with their particular devices. We are sorry that the connection was difficult for this guest. We just upgraded the entire wifi system in order to ensure we have the best available. The “damp/musty” smell is the beach. This unit is very close to the ocean/beach and it is humid. We have provided high end fans and a dehumidifier to provide extra comfort for those who are not used to the humidity. We take pride in our attention to detail in this unit as we have been renting for many years now. We appreciate the feedback so we can continue to improve the unit in order to provide the best vacation experience for our guests.

Great Beach Location

My wife and son visited Solana Beach and it’s a great location. Condo had everything you might need and really close to the pool. Beach is very close and not crowded. Not too far from Disney Land. San Diego is really close too. It was a relaxing quiet trip with everything we wanted to do a short drive away. Kim communicated very well with us. We are already planning our next trip!

Fabulous property!

We had everything we needed for our stay. Easy check-in and check-out. The property is so close to the beach and many restaurants and has many amenities. Kim was so easy to work with and responded quickly. We would stay here again.

Perfect location for a beach getaway

The location of this property is awesome - the beach is close and the area feels very safe. No need to cross major streets or anything. The heated pool and hot tub are also steps from the condo. The grill is in the pool/hot tub area and we used it one night without any issues. Another bonus was the beach toys and buckets. I noticed on the last day that there is a large umbrella for the beach in the closet but we never used it. Beach towels are not provided so be sure to bring your own. You will also want to bring coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner and some of the basic cooking supplies you may need (olive oil, Pam, spices, etc.). The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed (skillets, pots, measuring cups, etc.). It was nice having a TV in every room with DVR capability on the TV in the living room. Living room also has a DVD player. The full size washer and dryer was also very convenient. We stayed with our 5 year old son and the place was more than enough room for the 3 of us. We went to Legoland 2 days in a row and it was an easy 15-20 minute drive from the condo. We hope to stay here again in the future.
