Sie suchen nach einer Sonne und Sand gefüllt Urlaub zu einem erschwinglichen, Outer Banks am Meer mieten? Nun suchen Sie nicht weiter. Ein bestimmter Hafen ist der ideale Ort für Spaß, Romantik und Entspannung.

Der Hafen ist klein, aber der Strand ist breit! Die 'Harbor' ist eine freistehende Ein-Zimmer-Effizienz cabana, in Tommy Bahama / Margarita Atmosphäre dekoriert. Es ist an der Außenseite Reihe eines Clusters von vierzig kleinen Cabanas. Zu seinen Funktionen gehören ein Bett der Königin Kapitän, ein ausziehbares Schlafsofa Queen-Size-und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause bestückt. Die maximale Belegung beträgt drei Personen. Der Hafen verfügt über drei Decks im Freien, die Top-Decks hat eine erstaunliche Meerblick! Rezept für den perfekten Strandurlaub: Fügen Sie einfach Rum!
Sie können Ihren Morgenkaffee mit auf einen Spaziergang am Strand. Während die Tage auf der Jagd nach dem passenden Muscheln entfernt. Beobachten Sie die Delfine in und aus den Wellen spielen. Rig up eine Angelrute und reden Fisch Geschichten mit den Einheimischen. Oder kaufen Sie Ihre Surfboard und der perfekten Welle zu fangen.

Great stay!

This was a perfect space for a couple, right on the beach, quiet and relaxing. I msg the host prior to the trip & didn’t hear back which worried me a little but everything was great. Full kitchen was nice, check-in & out process was easy. Would definitely stay again, thank you for the hospitality!

Hatteras Get Away

Checked in online. Kitchen facilities were good. All decking and steps are about to fall down. Very unsafe! Promised amenities were not available. Beach chairs, outside waterhose, coffee, creamer etc not available. The property office said that unit 5 was not there property. But the walk to the beach was as promised. Be aware of unit 5 it is dangerous!

The Cabana could use some major TLC and maintenance. It's saving grace was that it was in an amazing location. There was black mold in the bathroom, exposed rusty nails and screws on the decking and stairs, rust on the blinds, light fixtures and door frames, and broken benches and very loose railings on the front deck. You were provided one towel and was cloth per person, so I recommend bringing your own. They also only provided a single roll of toilet paper for two people for an entire week, so you'll probably be purchasing that as well. Pretty much bring whatever you might need with you or plan on buying it when you get there.

Beach makes everything okay

Cute, small bungalow 5 cottages from beach. Flight of stairs to entry door, another flight to an upstairs balcony where you can see the ocean. Step stool required to get into bed and for access to cupboards top shelves. Bath tub also with high side challenging when stepping over to get out safely. Note: we are short people (not midgets). A couple of concerns for safety: loose board on top of stairs, another on front porch bench which is completely loose. Colander and knife set have peeling red paint and are really in need of replacing. And finally, there are no oven mitts. Don’t usually carry those on vacation, so may want to add those in your bag if planning to use the oven or microwave. As noted, the beach is so great and location is convenient to everything you need.

Maintance Issues

Thought we would go to the beach during the winter to experence Hatteras when it was quiet. Overall experence was good. The sliding door at the front of the cabana was tilted and didn't slide competely closed so it was very cold the first night. then I stuffed towels in the cracks that helped. The toilet insides were rusted and the flapper would not shut properly, so everytime we flushed the toilet we needed to take off the top and push it in the sealed position. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The beach is awesome. Watching the sun rise and seeing the vast array of stars at night was breath taking. Drove up and down the outter banks and saw the four major lighthouses.

We were there for 2 nights. Perfect for 2 , was very clean and well managed. Easy to get to . Convenient location and just a few yards to the beach ! We would recommend if you are looking for something close to the beach and cozy .

The description online isn't accurate. It states there is an ocean view. The only thing you can see is the top of the other roofs from the very top deck. There is no hot tub and that is reason I chose the location. There is so many maintenance issues that needed to be addressed; loose boards on the stairs, no outside deck light had to change light bulb, no light in the main area, broken water hydrant, toilet runns nonstop, scratched furniture, and burn marks on coutertop. There are also cleanliness issues as well; a couple pairs of socks found. I contacted the host but I never received a response back. The short walk to the beach was the only positive to staying here.

Glamping at its finest ❤️

First time using VRBO, heard horror stories from others regarding key pad to door not working to the location left dirty. This unit was perfect. You can’t come here though expecting it to be like staying in those huge 3 plus level houses. There is no washer and dryer. This was my family’s 14th year staying at the cabana’s, we typically utilize another rental agency but theirs were all booked for our week. Was very nervous to use VRBO, but our stay and the unit was perfect! Thank so much for the extra items too. Most do not have dish soap, dish rags, towels/wash clothes, and sheets supplied, this one did!! We plan our trip like if we are going camping, nothing is guaranteed in the units.

Quaint & Quiet

The place was perfect for me! I definitely enjoyed myself, I thought it would be right on beach but location was perfect for a quick stroll! I did have an issue getting in, the instructions given was off but I figured it out after a few tries! Place looks better than picture with new paint job, new sofa, kitchen was perfect and had everything I needed to cook while I was there. Recommendations: fix the lock on door, have to hold the door closed a certain amount to get the lock to engage, the door has rust on it didn’t want to touch it! Also the bathroom blind has rust on it, should probably change that. I also had to sweep and mop when I first got there because there was a ton of sand on the floors. Purchased a bathmat and left in shower because it needed one!!

Somethings to know

It was beautiful property. I did think it was a little closer to the beach. A few things were broken, so i took pictures and tried to email the property owner, as asked a few questions and she never got back to me!! (That was frustrating). Our water pipes did freeze, it would have been nice for a heads up to let the water drip!! As a heads up also, when the wind blows hard the whole cabana will move, it was freaky at first but you get use to it.

OMG, we might have lost our minds, but this is our second little unit in this complex. We bought our first one, The Lost Shaker of Salt in 2007, purchased this second unit, One Particular Harbor in 2013. We got married up the road in Kill Devil Hills and One Particular Harbor by Jimmy Buffett was our wedding song. We are big Buffett fans and belong to the local Parrothead Club. Hatteras holds a very special place in our hearts. It is hard not to love it there. It is so beautiful, and so relaxing. It is like stepping back in time to a very friendly town like Mayberry, situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in our country.

Jimmy would probably say we are “Growing Older, But Not Up.” For this second unit, we were going for the Margaritaville theme, done in a very stylish Tommy Bahama look.
