We specialize in horseback riding lessons and beach rides.
Horseback riding lessons are available for both adults and children.

Casa Sol y Luna accommodates up to 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms and 3 queen-size beds.
There is also a sofa in the living room that can be converted into a single bed.

Large wooden terrace/patio with a big hammock, dining table, chairs, and a hanging chair.

It is truly beautiful. You will receive seasonal fruits from our organic farm.

The house is fully equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, stove, cookware, etc.
It includes Wi-Fi, air conditioning, fans throughout, and mosquito screens on every window.

Everything you need is provided. Housekeeping service or a private cook can be arranged for an additional fee.
We can also organize yoga classes, surf lessons, or ATV excursions.
Massages can be arranged inside your home as well, for an additional fee.

We strongly recommend renting a car to be independent and mobile. Taxis are not easy to find here, but not impossible.

Our location is beautiful but somewhat remote:
5 minutes by car to the community beach of Playa Avellanas (also within walking distance),
7 minutes by car to the incredible Playa Negra surf spot,
25 minutes by car to the main activity town of Tamarindo.
1.5-hour drive from Liberia International Airport.

Guest Access

Main activities at the Finca include:
Horseback riding within the property, riding lessons in our secure arena, beach horseback rides, and walks on our private trail where you can observe wildlife such as monkeys and iguanas living naturally on the property.
You can also explore our organic farm with our two workers who care for various orchards and exotic vegetables.

Many activities are available around the Finca: yoga, private chef in your rental, surfing, paddleboarding, canopy tours, massage, ATV rides, cooking classes, visiting the largest maze in the world, and more.
Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, with volcanic-heated pools and mud baths, is only 2 hours away!

Yoga, massage, private chef, and cooking services can be arranged in the comfort of your home for an additional fee.
A concierge service can also be provided for an additional fee to organize all your activities.

The pool is private, exclusively for you, your guests, and your family.

Restricted areas: inside the horse enclosure and the main house on the property.
Children and dogs are welcome but must be supervised at all times and remain under your responsibility.
Finca Shambalah will not be held responsible for any injury or accident.
