Luxuriöse Villen Calypso und Iris sind oben Oualie Beach gelegene 3-Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, einem der schönsten Strände auf Nevis. Die abgelegene Meile langen Lovers 'Strand ist um die Ecke. Beide Häuser verfügen über große Veranden mit herrlichem Ausblick. Privatpool zwischen den beiden Villen.

Villa Calypso verfügt über zwei Wohnungen, Ober Calypso und Nieder Calypso, die separat gemietet werden können. Oder das ganze Haus mieten mit Rabatt. Villa Iris ist für ein Paar oder eine Familie; es verfügt über ein separates WC auf der unteren Etage.

Ober Calypso für 4-6 Personen. Zwei Kingsize-Schlafzimmer, jedes mit eigenem Bad, große Küche / Esszimmer / Wohnzimmer-Bereich mit einem Queen-Size-Schlafcouch und einem halben Bad und eine große Veranda mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang.

My wife and I booked a 5 day stay at Upper Calypso. The process was straightforward and easy. Communication with Gary and Maria was thorough, friendly and quick. The property was even better than the pictures! Enjoying the large veranda overlooking the ocean, the mountains of St Kitts, sunsets and monkeys posed a challenge to doing anything else but we managed to tear ourselves away to explore the other beautiful parts of Nevis. Their suggestions for food and activities were very helpful as well. Nevis stay

The view from the balcony was excellent, the swimming pool was a bonus, the natives were friendly and the beds were great...what more can you ask for?

Thank you, Peter, for your review -- glad you enjoyed your stay. True, the view from the veranda is breathtaking. ("Balcony" is a misnomer: it is a 48' by 9' veranda all around with sliding doors from each of the two bedrooms and the living room, table with four chairs, recliners, etc.) Wish you were more generous with stars, though: if nothing "more to ask for," why only four stars, not five? Hope you visit again (and find the "missing" star).

Absolutely fantastic!

We couldn't ask for anything more. Everything was perfect! We had 2 families, 4 adults 4 children. My husband and I rented the lower Iris. The location is perfect the views spectacular. We saw monkeys everywhere. When we weren't at a beach, the kids loved the pool. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

Adult family on vacation in Nevis

Calypso provided a wonderful place for our family vacation. It was a return to Nevis for some and first experience for others. The view from the expansive verandah was beautiful! The eight of us enjoyed cards, reading, morning coffees and evening dining all together outside! There was also ample living space indoors. Calypso is a great location with Oualie Beach, Lover’s Beach and Pinney’s Beach all close by, as were places for dining out. Our beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels abundant, the wifi worked well, the kitchen was well equipped - lots of soaps and TP, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Monkeys made their rounds in the trees and yards providing some entertainment for us. ( maybe we were entertaining them also ). Urban greeted us on our arrival and had stocked the fridge prior. If we had any questions or concerns, he was available. Urban was a good property host. This is a location we would look forward to visiting again! It really had a most spectacular view!

NOT a Luxury Villa, but location is Amazing

I really wanted to love this villa - the size and location are both great. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and the porch has an amazing view of Oualie Beach that cannot be beat. But, when I title states it is a Luxury Villa I expect more . . . it doesn't look to be updated or painted since it was built more than 20 years ago. The furniture is all very uncomfortable and the couch just sinks when you sit in it. The beds were rock hard and the pillows, sheets and towels were all mismatched. The tub was very disturbing and uncomfortable to use with the build up of mold (?) or dirt and a crack all down the side, along with the blue toilets from the 90's. Nothing felt clean because it was so old and discolored. When we arrived there was someone's open Dunkin' Donuts drink on the counter. The A/C we could not get to work, we found 2 roaches (one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom), and the TV we could not get to work. We didn't come to Nevis for the TV or AC so those weren't big deal breakers, just that it is advertised as having these items, and if they don't work then it should not be included as an amenity.

Hi Maria, Sorry Calypso hasn't met your expectations. I will remove "luxury" from the title. The TV instructions were written by it. You should have contacted Urban about the A/C. Gorgeous View and Location in Classic Nevisian Villa

My husband and I absolutely loved our week at Iris and highly recommend it. It is the smaller of two classic, Nevisian villas sited on a lovely property just a short walk up the hill above Oualie Beach Resort. You can take a two minute walk down the hill and spend the day on their lounge chairs under their palapas with food from their restaurant. The villa has two spacious, light-filled rooms with vaulted, ivory-colored, wood-beamed ceilings with large ceiling fans that keep it cool. There are sliders off both rooms to the ample veranda with a gorgeous view of St. Kitts and the Caribbean sunsets. There is no better place to watch the sunset! Also, the veranda sits just above the tree canopy where the island birds and monkeys like to play. It is incredible to sit there and watch them! Gary, the host, and Urban, the property manager, were responsive and helpful in planning our stay and tending to our arrival. Gary answered all of our questions and was flexible about possible cancellation due to Covid. Urban was here when we arrived, gave us a lay of the land, and thoughtfully stocked the fridge with a few food staples. This property has old world charm, great bones and is sited beautifully. It is not fancy and misses on minor details but in no way that significantly detracts from the heavenly experience. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

Calypso

I was really disappointed that there was less than 2 rolls of toilet paper on the premises. We have never had to carry our own TP. There was no dish soap under the sink but there was hand soap at the kitchen sink; so we washed the dishes with that. The TV did not work; my husband was hoping to watch football on Sunday. There was laundry soap in the laundry room, but I used my own. The view is tremendous from the porch. There is a not much area of shade in the afternoon on the porch. We did enjoy our stay here but was disappointed as stated above. We did not contact the property manager regarding these issues.
