The house was just as described and had a beautiful view of the lake and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Our son is in college at Lenoir Rhyne so we will definitely be staying here again.

This property was very convenient for us to travel back and forth through Hickory and the surrounding area. The view was always amazing and great to see early in the morning and late at night.

Excellent property!!! Very convenient to stores/restaurants. The property is clean and is exactly as pictured and described. Lots of special extras that makes for a great stay! Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Having the community beach is very convenient. Host is easy to communicate with and always responsive! The view is amazing and you will not be disappointed with this rental!

My husband, dog, and I had a wonderful time staying at the Lake Hickory Retreat! We had a great time at the community beach and seriously need to know where they got the downstairs couch from because it was SO comfortable! We probably would’ve barely gone upstairs if there was a bathroom and fridge in the basement, however, the view from the upstairs balcony is incredible at all hours of the day! Our only recommendation is to either provide a portable fan or improve the ceiling fan in the king bedroom. We would love to stay here again once the stairs and dock are done!

There is so much to love about this rental! We spent a month here and we loved it! The view is amazing! And can easily be enjoyed from all the outdoor space that has plenty of seating including a table with an umbrella. You can also enjoy the view from the living room couch. The house is well stocked with everything you need. There are plenty of linens and beach towels. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook any meal you want. The dining room table is a perfect size for playing games, which there are many there to enjoy. Downstairs is the perfect place to have fun with a ping pong table and foosball table when you are taking a break from the waterThe location of the house is perfect. There are so many restaurants nearby and Walmart will deliver groceries right to your door. An added bonus is you are close to the marina and their are several restaurants you can enjoy on the lake that often have live music. The dock is brand new and it is so nice to have a community beach to play on all day long The host goes above and beyond to make sure you have all you need for your stay and is always easy to communicate with. This is a great rental!

The view from inside the house and the decks is phenomenal...from sunup to sundown. The house is a 1970's ranch, remodeled inside. Spotlessly clean, new furniture,appliances,cabinetry. The exterior is not remodeled. Don't be put off by it.....the home is very nice to stay in. The materials used inside are high quality and the floorplan is perfect. This is an easy house to stay in. We had a small dog and he got along fine in the house and it was easy to walk him in the front and back yards. The Beach access is convenient and it is very nice to sit down there and watch the boats and Jet skis come in and go out. There is a starbucks 10 minutes away and downtown Hickory and the Viewmont section are also 10 minutes away. The Riverwalk is 7 minutes away and the City Walk only a little further. There is plenty to do and see. We enjoyed sitting on the deck (Both decks have there strong points) and watching the comings and goings across Lake Hickory. We have a Ford Expedition and were easily able to park in the driveway,under the side deck. It is a quiet and private location.
