Perfection

Charming, comfortable home in perfect proximity to everything we needed to be near. Host is amazing and made great recommendations of places to visit. So glad we booked!

Enjoyed our stay :)

Description of the house was spot on. Location was absolutely perfect and the backyard was perfect for our pups. Meri was great and super accommodating, if we visit Hickory again we would hope to stay here!

I could live here!

You can scroll down and see my other comments since I've been staying at Better Days Inn for months. I had a fire at my home and grateful I found this house. Cozy, comfortable, everything you need is there, close to great restaurants, stores, and entertainment. I stayed in the "queen" room and even ordered the same mattress and pillows for when I return to my home. And yes, my daughter said she would like to live there! I spent a lot of time on the wonderful wrap around porch and never in my 67 tears of life have I ever seen a chipmunk until my stay at Better Days. In the mornings while I would be sipping my coffee, there was one chipmunk that would come out on the side ledge of the front porch and I would sing to it. Believe it or not, I heard him say his name was Alvin. So if you have the opportunity to stay at Better Days, please tell him Pam says Hi!

Couldn't Ask For More!

Great house! Has everything needed for a pleasing stay. Super cool decorating and very comfortable furnishings. All is clean and fresh. Everywhere you look there's something beautiful. Handicapped accessible for me and our elderly dog with an outside entry ramp for us both and bathroom toilet and shower fixtures for me. Love the huge wrap around gated porch. Wonderful happy stay!

Character and Charm Await, from the house and the Hostess

Overall, our experience at "Better Days Inn" in Hickory, NC was positive. Meri was wonderful to deal with and did her absolute best to accommodate our requests or needs. We could not have asked for better. The house served our purposes well, even when we had the family over to celebrate our granddaughter's graduation (14 people total). The closeness to Hwy. 127 made for extra road noise (which Meri warned us about) but did not cause us any real issues. The location is close to many amenities and an abundance of restaurant choices. The house is still in the midst of some remodeling, with some paint work, etc. still to be done, but this simply added to its charm and was not a problem at all.
