House was clean. BUT it felt like Spirit Airlines! Water never got hot (noticed the hot water tank was set to the lowest setting and the knob removed). 8 of us, host left 8 towels. So we each had to use the same towel throughout our stay. No extra towels anywhere. Host left only enough dish soap for 2 runs of the dishwasher. No hand soap in bathrooms. The wash machine was behind lock and key. Host said we were not allowed to use it because we didn’t book a 7 day stay. No trash bags! Not a complete set of cookware. One house only had plastic silverware. 6 plates. God forbid you have to get a 2nd plate. Couldn’t watch TV if you didn’t have subscriptions. It was obvious the host was penny pinching and trying to keep cost down at the expense of the guest. The Host was unresponsive. On SUNDAY! GAMEDAY!! The internet wasn’t working or turned off! We travel as a group once a year for 10 years and this by far was the worst experience. who turns off the ice maker to save money!! Who locks up the iron/ironing board to save money! No proof but it seems the host was controlling the thermostat remotely. Not sure this is a good business choice for the host or, do better
