This stylish garden level modern apartment is well located in Kittery and provides local recommendations from the hosts that live in the upper unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking and coffee needs, and includes an under-counter fridge, under-counter freezer, and microwave. The house is less than a mile to downtown Kittery and the shipyard gates, and less than two miles to Portsmouth. (All very walkable with sidewalks)

The Space:
Our space is modern, clean and vibrant. It is a garden level apartment but gets plenty of sunlight.
The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is a little gem in Kittery. Just steps to Rogers Park you will find 1+ miles of beautiful hiking trails set on the edge of tidal Spruce Creek. Perfect place to take in the sunrise or enjoy a dog walk. The Kittery Community Center is also at our back door. With access to their extensive playground, indoor exercise gym, walking track, basketball and pickle ball.
Getting Around:
Our home is located a short walk (.5 mile) from Tributary Brewing Company and the Blue Mermaid restaurant. Travel a bit further and enjoy a lovely (.9) mile walk to downtown Kittery to enjoy some of the best food and drinks on the seacoast. Downtown Portsmouth is an additional 1.8 miles away offering even more fantastic shops, restaurants and activities.
Other Things to Note:
We welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations.
The host and family live in the upstairs unit. We often have children playing in the house, neighborhood, and around the yard. If the sound of children bothers you, this may not be the best fit.
While we love pets, this rental property has a strict no-pet policy, which is important for maintaining a clean and safe environment for all.
Access to the shared washer and dryer must be requested prior to guest arrival.
The beautiful rugged coastline of Maine can also come with some adventure. As with many Maine homes, power outages may occur, especially during strong storms. We provide emergency supplies like flashlights, a first aid kit, emergency snow shovels, and bottled water to ensure your comfort. We are also quick to recommend local community buildings, cafes and restaurants in town that have power, if we do not. These outages can last a few hours or longer, depending on the cause. We do not offer weather related refunds outside of our cancellation policy so you may consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel last minute. That being said, we do our best to be reasonable in extended power outages.
Interaction with Guests:
We always give our guests privacy but are available in person or via phone if they need us. It is important to note that we do have children and they may be heard upstairs at points during the day. If this additional noise will impact your stay than I'd suggest another unit.
