This house is as described with some updates that really set it apart. The layout of mirrored floors was great for our large group and the addition of the fifth bedroom and bath is awesome. The pool is a great way to cool off but the covered outdoor kitchen and terrace was where we spent most of our time and the best part of the house for us. The views from there of the mountainous jungle and ocean were amazing. The home comes fully stocked but should you need anything Jessica is just a text away and response immediately. Doug was an incredible host and communicated with us very timely. We will definitely be back to stay in this home again.

We enjoyed our stay, the hosts were attentive to all our needs in a timely manner, we were offered a discount on a deep sea fishing charter they also own and we had a blast caught some sail fish and some Mahi, the Mahi we got to keep and cook! My family made great memories!

Best Vacation Ever

This property and the people associated with it is AMAZING! First off, the host has great communication. I asked so many questions and he always answered quickly. The Property Manager was so helpful in arranging tours for us and making sure we parked and stayed in safe places. The pool was great. Having 4 bathrooms and showers was great! I can’t even put into words how much I loved this home!

Amazing house

With duplicate floors, this house is ideal for either two families or a large family with adults upstairs and kids downstairs. Our concierge was amazing, as was the chef and the fishing. Everything about this house makes us want to come back!

From the moment we booked this home the communication was amazing! Our family enjoyed the views and definitely the hospitality! Jessica the concierge was so so helpful with restaurant reservations and booking tours. But our driver Eduard was our best friend! Took us to the grocery store and souvenir shopping. Comfortable and beautiful house with forest and Mountain View

Clean and beautiful house with a great deck and pool for relaxing. The view of the nearby forest is quite pretty. The property manager Jessica is extremely helpful. Without uber service in the area we relied on her for all the taxi arrangements, she even took us for shopping groceries and arranged the tour on the property owned boat. We did not go for fishing but still got some exciting fishing experience. The nearby walk distance two restaurants are good.with amazing sunset view.

The views are spectacular. Ronnies is so close and fun to walk to. Ashort drive to Manual Atonio offers lots of dining and beaches. We had a few house issues but even during the holidays the staff was incredibly communicative, prompt to respond and to investigate. I will say outdoor pool area needs a facelift. Tiles are rough and coming off in the pool and spa. New seating would be good but that said I highly recommend this tucked away gem.

Beautiful house and very responsive owner

Overall we were extremely happy with the property. The location was great and the views were fantastic. And the owner was extremely friendly and willing to work with us to make sure everything went smoothly. Just a quick story - we had reached out in advance because we knew we had one more sleeper than there were beds, and the owner said there was an air mattress, so it was no problem. We arrived at the house around 8 pm or so, and when we inflated the air mattress, it turned out it had a hole in it. We messaged the owner, and within 10 minutes I got a message that a new air mattress had been purchased and it was on our way to the house. 10 minutes after that, a new air mattress was delivered to the house...crisis averted! It was some of the best customer service I've ever received. All in all, would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting this part of Costa Rica.

A wonderful escape

Had a great stay at Casa Wyrica. The villa is well appointed and structured. As a group of six we really enjoyed the seperate two units as it provided more privacy. The deck and swimming pool are great. Lots of birds to stare at as well as the resident iguanas :-). Our favorite was sitting on the deck and feeling the breeze in the evening watching the sunset. Having a cool restaurant (Ronny's) a stone throw away was a big bonus. Also, a new restaurant just opened up a few days ago right next door. Enjoyed that too. We drove into town quite a bit as well. All in all, everything was to our liking. Now, I will mention that Luis the property manager was extremely communicative and checking if we needed anything on a daily basis. Thank you Luis! If you are looking for a really nice, well managed villa that provides serenity with driving proximity to town, we highly recommend this one.

We just returned from an unforgettable stay at Casa Wyrica! This stunning property exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by the luxurious rooms, which offered ample space to relax and unwind. The AC units in each room ensured a comfortable retreat from the tropical heat.But it was the expansive outdoor space that truly stole our hearts. Surrounded by lush nature, we spent hours soaking up the serene atmosphere, spotting exotic birds, and simply enjoying quality time together. And when we needed to cool off, the beautiful pool was just a short stroll away.Casa Wyrica's prime location meant we were never far from adventure. We explored the nearby beach, zip-lined through the jungle, and indulged in delicious local cuisine at the many excellent restaurants within easy reach.What truly sets this property apart, however, is the exceptional service. Any issues that arose were promptly addressed by the friendly and responsive management team. Housekeeping was timely and thorough, ensuring our villa remained spotless throughout our stay.If you're seeking a luxurious, stress-free getaway in a breathtaking tropical setting, look no further than Casa Wyrica. Needs Updating and Maintenance

The pictures are very hard to see - but there are power lines and utlity poles directly in the way of the view towards the ocean. A few of the pictures must be very old because they do not even show power lines - but they are directly in the way of what would be a great view of the ocean. The power lines need to be buried in front of the house. The sliding glass doors are old and need security bars as they are hard to lock and seem flimsy. The safe key that was supposed to open and close the safe did not work. Lots of small things that need attention. The outdoor space needs a lot of maintenance - the wood around the pool had lots of issues and the pool floor tiles were coming off, which resulted in cutting our daughters foot. The pictures don't match the property. The check-in and communication was great and we did 2 boats trips that were awesome with Wyrica, but I would not book this property at the price again unless it was updated and the power lines were buried.

Wonderful centrally located property with amazing views!

This house was very close to Manuel Antonio Park and to the famous Playa Espadilla beach, both of which should not be missed. It comes with extraordinary views of both the Pacific and a beautiful valley. Sunrises and sunsets were amazing. We saw lots of tropical birds including toucans and macaws. It’s also in the middle of many restaurants such as EL Avión and its only steps to famous Ronny’s. Doug is very responsive to all questions and helped with arrangements for part of our party to get from the airport to the house. The house was perfect for our party of 6 adults. Just in case it’s not clear, the house consists of two apartments that are identical. Each has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms and a common living area and kitchen. One has a laundry room. The apartments share the pool and hot tub. It also comes with a garage which is really handy if you have a car. The best part is Jessica, the house manager. She was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us how everything in the house worked. She also offered to clean every two days and to book tours and transportation. She booked a chino monkey mangrove tour that was one of the highlights of our trip. If you like monkeys , I highly recommend it. She also booked a half day fishing charter on Amy’s Dream for two of our party. They caught all kinds of fish. If I had to come up with one suggestion, I would say that a dishwasher would have been nice. But we had a fantastic time and I highly recommend the property.

Convenient and clean

Very nice property, like the pics. There are two units one on top of the other and can be used as one house with an add’l exterior door. Lots of birds and conveniently located. There’s shops and atm’s within short driving distance. Ronny’s up the road is delicious with a beautiful view. The house Mgr has a list of well rated adventures that are safe. We enjoyed the OFF THE BEATEN PATH and ATV tour. Anything you need, Luis, the House Mgr, will help you and responds within mins. Really great!

Amazing

I have zero complaints about my stay at Casa WyRica. The home is absolutely amazing with stunning 360° views of Costa Rica's beautiful nature. Management (Luis) was flawless, recommending and booking all of my activities for me, booking transportation for me as well as filling up my fridge with all of the groceries that I requested prior to my stay. The cleaning team was awesome. The pool area was awesome and we also had some visitors every day (Huge friendly Iguanas). Previous reviews complained about bad wifi, the wifi was absolutely flawless for me and another bonus were the smart TV's throughout the House which allowed My wife and I, as well as our kids to enjoy our favorite streaming apps after a long day of fun outdoors. Can't say enough good things about this place and its staff. My next visit to Manuel Antonio will 1000% be with the Casa WyRica team.

Perfect location!

We had the absolute best stay at casa wyrica! The location is great. Just a short drive to Manuel Antonio. The restaurant Vista Dorada that is such a short walk was so delicious. I highly recommend. The pool and rooftop plunge pool were a major highlight! I would love to stay here again!

Great view and modern place to be poolside.

Communication with the property manager Luis was superb! He responded via WhatsApp immediately with any questions we had. He helped coordinate a guided tour to the Park and for a nurse to come do our Covid tests to go home. The house is lovely. 2 fully furnished/equipped floors and a fantastic deck with hot tub and pool. We started each morning with coffee and beautiful views and each dinner with amazing sunsets. Ronny's restaurant is in walking distance...a must go for sunset dinner. Only small issue was a lack of sharp knives for cooking.

Better than Advertised

For once a vacation rental was BETTER than expected! Very spacious. Loved the view on both sides of the house, great for bird watching. Louise was very helpful and so welcoming. He checked in with us on multiple occasions and helped us call cabs and food delivery since our phone service didn't work in Costa Rica. Other reviews noted the septic smell downstairs, obstructed view (power pole) and the "Hot tub" is not hot. All those things are true but very miniscule and did not disrupt our stay in any way. Ronnies Place (little restaurant up the hill) was delicious and had such a fun vibe at night. We loved the wildlife, from Iguanas on the pool deck and house geckos crawling around at night to bird watching from one of the many balconies and howler monkeys roaring up the valley, all made it a cool place to stay.

Wonderful private home

Convenient to Manuel Antonio. Wonderful views & sunsets. This home was perfect for our family. Lots of modern amenities included. Would definitely return!
