We have a roof top area where host Gene, a licensed yoga instructor that holds 4 black belts in - Karate, Chinese Goju, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and trained Muy Thai Kick Boxing offers yoga classes and breathing work classes with Vinyasa flow and Warrior flow yoga-weather permitting.
Located just a few blocks from famous Fifth Avenue, youâll be surrounded by excellent cafĂ©s, restaurants, and retail, with the beach only blocks away. With everything at your fingertips, our condo offers the perfect blend of comfort, location, and laid-back Caribbean living.

Guests should know that Gene is a welcoming and passionate host who truly enjoys creating a positive, healthy environment for visitors. He grew up in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and brings that laid-back island energy into everything he does. Gene is a licensed yoga instructor and highly experienced martial artist, holding four black belts in Karate, Chinese Goju, Tae Kwon Do, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with additional training in Muay Thai kickboxing. Weather permitting, he offers yoga and breathwork classes on the rooftop, featuring Vinyasa Flow and Warrior Flow styles.
Gene also has a big heartâhe lives on-site caring for his 88-year-old mother and adores his tiny 4 lb Morkie. He understands that pets are family and allows dogs up to 18 lbs with an additional fee. His goal is to make guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and supported while enjoying everything Casa Agave and Playa del Carmen have to offer.

Weâre just a few blocks from Fifth Avenue and the beach, and only one block from the Deportivo Mario Villanueva Madrid outdoor sports complex, which offers tennis courts, jogging paths, fitness areas, and community classes. Itâs a neighborhood where locals live, exercise, and gather, giving guests a genuine sense of Playa del Carmen life.
