Welcome to Bear Den, an A-Chalet property! We’re thrilled to host you and want to ensure you have a seamless and enjoyable stay. Please take a moment to review these house rules.

📍 Check-In & Arrival

✔️ Complete the Rental Agreement before arrival to help us prepare for your stay.
✔️ Check-in time is 4:00 PM (early check-in available upon request if possible).
✔️ Please be mindful of quiet hours from 10 PM - 7 AM to respect our neighbors.

🐾 Pet Policy

We’re happy to welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs under the following conditions:
💲 Pet Fee: $75 per stay (maximum of 2 dogs).
🐶 Pet Rules:
• Keep pets off furniture and beds to maintain cleanliness.
• Crate pets when unattended inside the cabin.
• Always leash and supervise pets outdoors.
• Clean up after your pet—failure to do so may result in an additional cleaning fee.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling Guidelines

Help us keep the property clean and environmentally friendly:
🖤 Black Cart (Household Waste): Bagged food waste, food containers, lightweight plastics, Styrofoam, bagged pet waste, and clothing.
💙 Blue Cart (Recycling): Flattened cardboard, paper, glass bottles, aluminum, tin, and magazines.
🚫 Not Accepted: Electronics, batteries, construction debris, hazardous waste.

🔥 Fireplace Use

Enjoy a cozy fire responsibly:
✔️ Keep the chain-link guard closed when in use.
✔️ Never leave the fireplace unattended while burning.

🌡️ Thermostat & Heating

✔️ Adjust to your preferred comfort level.
✔️ When checking out, set to 65°F

🍽️ Kitchen & Cleaning Expectations

✔️ Wash and put away all used dishes before departure.
✔️ Wipe down kitchen surfaces

❄️ Snow Removal

✔️ A shovel and salt are provided for your use.
✔️ Plow services automatically occur during or after 3 inches of snowfall.

🚪 Check-Out Instructions

✔️ Return furniture, blankets, and decor to their original positions.
✔️ Take out all trash and recyclables before departure.
✔️ Lock all doors and windows.
✔️ Set thermostat to 65°F
