PERFECT for our family Thanksgiving visit…

We came to town with half our grandchildren to visit with the other half for Thanksgiving and this condo is minutes away from my husband’s sister, aunt and daughter; furthermore, surrounded by so many parks for the children to explore…. 5 stars and looking forward to the next visit!!!

Amazing location great space

We had a great time at this rental the space was amazing the rooms were great but there is only one tv on the living room the rooms dont have any tvs besides that everything was amazing about this location

Great and Safe place to stay

It was great stay for our party of 6 adults (3 couples). There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us. We were glad to also find a garage to house our motorcycles. The property manager was available for all our questions. We traveled into San Francisco for a day and taking the BART was close and we didn't have to take the motorcycles.

West Coast Vacation

The property was exactly as listed, in a neighborhood close to San Francisco. It was very clean. The numerous levels was hard to get used to, as we live in a ranch style home but it was a fun change. Property owners were great with communication.

Family reunion

Family from all over the US came to see sibling in Castro Valley who is unable to travel. This location is so convenient to the Oakland Airport, it makes the commute short and simple. Access to the BART station is less than 1.5 miles. The property is spacious with multiple bathrooms and a large kitchen, so we could all have our own space, but come together for cooking and meals with more than enough room for a great family gathering.

Nice house, great communication

Our group of 6 had a great stay. Contacted the property owner the day before our arrival since our flight to San Francisco would arrive in the morning. They were quick with a response, granting us permission to check in as soon as we got in. Having access to the garage to park was great considering the number of warnings about not leaving valuables in the car from the moment we landed. Only "complaint" we have is the somewhat minimal kitchen supplies/utensils given the number of people that could stay in the house. Would definitely stay again!

Hayward Haven

Once again, Lillian provided us with a great property rental for 8 very mature adults. The property has a great floor plan with a large common areas for "cocktail" hour and family dinners, but also smaller areas for solitude and privacy. We absolutely love having a garage to park and protect our vehicles. The BART station is close and so very convenient for a day trip into San Francisco. We did have one small problem with the kitchen drain, but once we called our host, the issue was remedied within a matter of hours. Since we all love to cook and making family dinners, we noted that we would appreciate having more kitchen supplies (mixing bowls, salad bowls, mixer,etc), mugs, and glassware (wine glasses). However, overall, this is a great property, and close to a lot of great California attractions. Thank you, Lillian!

80th Birthday in Hayward

This property was the perfect location for 4 mature couples that came to California to celebrate their sister's 80th Birthday. The condo was spacious and clean and the perfect foot print for gathering together or for finding your own space. The kitchen was very large and contained the very basics for cooking. Very much enjoyed the double garage as a few days were rainy and we very much appreciated keeping our vehicles and ourselves dry. The condo is located in a very well development community with lots of our door spaces off of the property; many sidewalks and park areas for walking, running, and recreation. The condo was two blocks from an Amtrac station and 0.6 miles from a BART stop; we took advantage of the BART and spent a great day in San Francisco. The hostess was very attentive and responsive; responded immediately to any phone calls or text messages. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely considering returning and recommending it to others.

Great location for a Football Weekend

Some friends and I went to the Bay Area for a couple of Football Games; NCAA on Saturday and NFL on Sunday. No comment about the games, but our accommodations were ideal. Everything clean, heating and air worked great, TV was excellent and all the plumbing had great water pressure. All the appliances worked great. We were very comfortable and safe.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

This home was clean, very bright with lots of windows, and spacious. The kitchen is amazing with tons of storage and counter space, but we would have appreciated a few more kitchen items being provided to make cooking in the kitchen more doable. Fortuantely, we had family in the area and were able to borrow some baking pans and bowls. We appreciated the double car garage, as street parking was in very short supply. There are lots of stairs in this townhouse, so not a good choice for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs. But they do provide a natural workout through the day. The neighborhood is full of parks with shopping close by, and it is close to the Oakland Airport. Lilian was very responsive to our communications and allowed us to add on an extra night on short notice. We would definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area.

Fall 2019

The property was of great size for our large family and extended family that wanted to share accommodations for the week. The property was clean but the carpet is light, stains were easily visible and there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the stairway from the middle to top floor. The laundry room needs upgrades. I greatly appreciate laundry soap being left in the room for convenience. But the machines are SO loud that it was impossible to do laundry and hold a conversation in the middle level of the home. The kitchen is so large and inviting, wonderful for a large group that wants to cook meals in and not go out. Unfortunately there was not adequate cooking/ storage/ utensils/ bowls to do any cooking. There are basic pots, pans, sharp knifes and table utensils. But that is all. I would have appreciated a more stocked kitchen. And while it might be "helpful" to leave condiments, ect in the pantry for the next person... many of theses condiments looked old and the open box of cereal I threw away. I would appreciate a clean pantry without leftovers from strangers with unkown expiration dates. The housing community itself was wonderful! Very clean, grass lawns, playgrounds for children, convenient freeway access. With a few upgrades this property would be perfect!

Thank you for your detailed review. I just returned back from a long trip. Seems there are guests before you were smoking which is not allowed. The washer was just broken and will be replaced soon. Based on the house rule, only light cooking is recommended. However, we'll double check the pantry room and make sure it's cleaned when the future guests left.

Short Weekend Getaway

The experience renting this property was extremely easy. The property is very nice and the area is quiet; big plus. The stay was extremely comfortable!! One important factor was the attentiveness of the owner. She cared about our stay and reached out - I appreciated that. I will definitely consider this property again.

Clean & Safe

This was a great rental. It was clean and we really appreciated having access to the garage as street parking looked crowded. Everything was seamless with my stay so I didn’t have to contact property manager during stay, just about check in time . This was really good for my group. I would definitely recommend this place!
