RidgeWalk Angel Fire's only Treehouse: Big Views at '9200 + Private Suite + Loft
RidgeWalk Treehouse is pure mountain magic, perched at 9,200 ft with panoramic views over Angel Fire and the Moreno Valley. A cozy queen bedroom and a loft with two full beds sleep up to 6. Mornings bring sunrise coffee on the roomy deck. Evenings mean dinner on the grill, pink skies over the peaks, and a sky full of stars. Wildlife wanders by, trailheads are close, and your gear stays safe in the lockable ski closet. Games, peace, and fresh alpine air make this a one-of-a-kind stay. Winter driving here is real mountain driving, so AWD or 4WD and chains are required when snow or ice is present.
Welcome to RidgeWalk Treehouse
Angel Fire’s only true treehouse sits on six peaceful acres '9200 above the valley. Step out to the balcony and take in the Sangre de Cristo range, the Moreno Valley, and Eagle Nest Lake in the distance. Kids love climbing the ship’s ladder to claim the loft as their secret hideaway. Parents unwind in the private queen bedroom with quiet morning coffee and big views through the pines. Days are simple: ski, ride, hike, or fish, then come home to watch the colors change across the valley and the first stars appear.
The space
Queen bedroom for two, plus a loft with two full beds (accessed by a ship’s ladder) to sleep a total of 6
Bright living area for reading, card games, and movie nights on the smart TV
Well-stocked kitchenette with appliances and the tools you need to cook simple family meals
Fast Wi-Fi to check weather, trail status, or stream a show
Lockable ski and gear closet to keep everything organized and dry
Large deck and balcony for sunrise coffee, sunset grilling, stargazing, and wildlife watching
What we love
The views. Sunrises spill light into the trees and sunsets paint the valley.
The wildlife. Deer, elk, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, and Steller’s jays drop by often, and very occasionally a black bear passes through.
The space to breathe. Six quiet acres above the valley with room to slow down and reconnect.

Ship’s-ladder loft: fun for older kids and adults, but not suitable for unsupervised small children or anyone with mobility concerns.
High elevation: the treehouse sits around 9,200 ft. Hydrate and take it easy on day one.
Quiet hours: please respect our peaceful ridge and the wildlife that shares it.
Guest access
The Treehouse is a private stand-alone home with its own driveway and entrance, separate from the RidgeWalk Lodge. Guests have full use of the treehouse, deck, grill, and parking area. Street parking is not allowed in Angel Fire. We use a plow service as needed, but conditions can change quickly in the mountains. In winter weather, arrive in an AWD or 4WD vehicle with chains and be prepared for snow-packed or icy roads.
Staying with a larger group
If your group needs more space, ask about booking the RidgeWalk Lodge under its separate listing for added bedrooms, larger living areas, and even more room to gather. Both homes share the same peaceful ridge and stunning views.
