The upstairs loft offers a pull out queen sofa bed and a queen bunk bed for extra comfort, as well as arcade games, air hockey, and board games. There are two decks for your enjoyment with a hot tub and dining table on the lower deck and chairs and an outdoor sofa set on the upper deck to enjoy the wooded/mountain views. The cabin stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Whether relaxing indoors or enjoying time together, this tremendous retreat welcomes guests to a cozy and inviting stay. The home uses filtered well water; however, if you prefer not to drink well water, we recommend bringing bottled water and ice. The refrigerator’s water and ice functions are enabled (filtered water)

Wild Plum Tea Room (Gatlinburg): Set in a charming log cabin in the Arts & Crafts Community, this Austrian-style tea house offers a leisurely lunch of sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts, plus their signature Wild Plum Tea. Reservations are highly recommended.

Elvira’s Café (Wears Valley): Just a quick 2-minute drive from the cabin, this cozy spot serves homestyle breakfast, lunch, and dinner — and brunch on weekends.

Peaceful Side Social (Townsend): A relaxed, craft‑kitchen vibe with tacos, pizza, seasonal margaritas, and a great patio for families.

The Townsend Abbey (Townsend): Dine riverside with craft beer or cider in hand. Their flatbreads, sandwiches, and salads hit the spot in a peaceful, scenic setting.

✦ Early Check-In / Late Check-Out / Fees
We’re happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out whenever possible, based on availability. We always aim to make it work, as long as it allows our cleaning team enough time to get the cabin ready to our high standards.
A $60 fee will apply if the property isn’t vacated by 11:15 AM. To request early check-in or late check-out, please submit your request at least 24 hours in advance. These fees help ensure our cleaners have the time needed to prepare the home perfectly for every guest.

✦Check-Out Instructions
We know you’re on vacation to relax, not tackle chores! When it’s time to leave, we just ask that you toss the used towels in the laundry room, load the dishwasher, take the trash to the outdoor bins, and lock the doors behind you. That’s it—easy and stress-free!

✦Wildlife
The Smokies are full of amazing wildlife! You may spot or hear critters nearby, including bears (sometimes with cubs). While we have a monthly pest control service, you might still encounter bugs, spiders, raccoons, snakes, ladybugs, and other creatures that call the outdoors home. If you see a few, just let them be—if something becomes a bigger problem, please let us know. Always keep trash in the bear-proof container, never feed wildlife, and make sure all doors and windows (including car doors) are securely locked.

✦Travel Insurance
We’re unable to offer refunds for situations beyond our control, like sudden illness, bad weather, power outages, lack of snow, or other unforeseen events. For peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes to your plans.

✦No Pets Allowed
We adore animals, but to keep our cabin safe for guests and local wildlife, we have a strict no-pet policy. Bringing a pet will result in a $500 charge, which includes a $150 cleaning fee to ensure the cabin stays fresh and ready for all guests.

✦No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin. If you’d like to smoke outdoors, please do so considerately and dispose of any cigarette butts properly. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking is detected indoors. Thank you for helping us keep the cabin fresh and welcoming for all guests!

✦Returned Items
We cannot guarantee the return of items left behind at the cabin. If we are able to locate them and ship them back to you, a $35 handling fee plus shipping costs will apply, payable in full before the items are sent.

✦VRBO Experiences
Activities booked through VRBO are separate from our cabin and not part of your stay, so please keep them out of property reviews.
