The space
Located just a stone's throw from Panajachel but outside of the hubbub, this lakefront estate, built over a century ago, has been lovingly restored and updated without sacrificing any of the historical elements. You will feel as though you have stepped back in time upon walking through the front gates to this property.

The property caretaker and his wife live on the property along with their three very friendly dogs. Josefina, the housekeeper, will prepare your Guatemalan style breakfast each morning and then tidy up the house.

There are four bedrooms, however one of the bedrooms is accessible only via another bedroom. All three bathrooms have been fully updated and boast beautiful granite countertops, rainhead showers, Makenna brand shower gel and shampoo products, and plenty of hot water.

The kitchen has also been completely renovated and has everything you will need to cook meals at home or hire the in-house cook to prepare meals for you. in addition to the formal dining room located in the great room just off the kitchen, there is also an outdoor covered dining space which is surrounded by the lush gardens and views of the volcanoes in the distance. This outdoor dining space also has a gas grill, food prep area and plenty of space to relax in teak steamer chairs.
