Ein kleines Paradise mitten auf Marathon

Papaya Bay ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum wohlfühlen. Ein sehr schönes Apartment was in der Auststattung keine Wünsche offen lässt. Angefangen von ausreichend Hand- und Badetüchern. Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gern wieder ( wahrscheinlich im Januar ). Für uns war es ein Traumurlaub. Danke für alles.

The entire property is a very peaceful area to get away from the stresses of life. Our accommodations were very neat and clean. Muffett has thought of everything you may need. The views of the Gulf were spectacular. Plus you could sit and watch the boats come in and out.The pool was perfect to cool off and relax.One of our favorite dinners was right next door at Key Fisheries. We loved our time spent here so much that we didn't want to leave. We are already planning our next getaway here. Muffett was a warm, friendly host. We loved talking with her. We both feel like we made a new friend on this vacation.

We had a fabulous vacation after a very long drive! From watching gorgeous sunsets and boats along the shore to fishing off the pier, Muffet's piece of paradise checked all of our boxes! A slice of paradise

What a special place with so many personal touches that make a beautiful property feel like a home away from home. This worked perfectly for our family of three and we were so thankful for Muffett’s hospitality. It was a quiet place with beautiful sunsets and access to both a pool and private water access for snorkeling and swimming. We left property a few days but mostly just enjoyed all the beauty on site.

A week in paradise

What a fantastic place to spend a vacation! We hopped in "the lagoon" almost every day for a swim or float. You have the option of sun or shade at the shore here too! We loved everything about this place.Our hostess, Muffet is an absolute peach. We will return for sure!!

A little slice of magic

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Marathon, Fl. Muffet’s place is pure magic. She is right on the water with a cute little place (it honestly is much larger than it looks in the photos), a great outdoor area with small soaking pool, ping pong, outdoor bar, and numerous clusters of chairs for socializing and just relaxing taking in the sunsets. Muffet was also amazing, giving us advice and being a gracious host. She became a friend while we were there. I will miss our relaxing days when home. If you love the Jeys and are looking for the most beautiful place to unwind, this is the place!

Cathartic Getaway

Came for a week over Christmas after the passing of my father. Muffet and her piece of paradise was exactly what this Daddy’s girl needed. We rented bikes locally and used them to investigate Marathon and even took them to Key West for a day as well. We enjoyed all the local restaurants but the Stuffed Pig was a pleasant surprise for breakfast. We will definitely stay with Muffet again in the future.

Not your usual rental. This one has a great host that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This place is off the path a bit, so you feel very safe weather you are there or not. There is a great sunset view and nice little pool to relax in. I will definitely try to stay here again.

Summer Stay 2024

Fantastic property and accommodations with superb views of the gulf coast. Sunsets were amazing. Owner made sure things were right and the stay was enjoyable. Marathon Key is centrally located in the keys, so our day trips to Key West, surrounding Keys and Everglades National Park were not all day car rides. Without hesitation we definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay

Muffet is an outstanding host. The property has everything you would need and more. The sunsets are stunning. Marathon is in the middle of the keys so you can get to Key Largo or Key West in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend!!

A Breeze in the Keys

This was our second time staying at Muffet's place. She is a most gracious host and has become a friend. The rental is clean and comfortable and so easy to feel at home in. Once you step outside and take in the beautiful views and amazing sunsets, you know that you have walked out into paradise. We were able to grill, fish from the point every evening and load up on a few snappers, and soak in the pool while watching the sun set. This trip we were greeted by a manatee along with the neighborhood iguana, ducks and doves. Its a great place to escape the craziness of the Keys and just sit back and relax. We can't wait till we can return.

Magical place

We have stayed at this property several times now. Its always perfect. Great property with lot of room. Very quiet. Place is always clean with everything in working order. Well equipped kitchen. Cant beat the view anywhere IMO. Owner is very nice,welcoming and makes sure everything is OK.Quick to respond to any questions We have been visiting the Keys our whole life and nothing beats the view and ambiance of this place. Gorgeous views, great accommodations!

We couldn't have found a better place to stay when we visited the Key's! Located in Marathon, we were close to both Key West and Key Largo and all the other Keys in between. Our hostess was so gracious and kind, she had answers about everything in the area .The accommodations were great, had everything you needed or didn't know you needed. Clean and comfortable. And the views.....breathtaking . Sunset was the favorite time of our nights. Great location also. Quiet. In walking distance of a few restaurants and park. When we visit the Keys again, this is where we will return to.

I have lived in the Florida Keys for 30 years, and in this house for 24. When we first came to the Florida Keys my husband and I fell in love with it. It is the only place that comes anywhere close to the Bahamian Islands where I grew up and spent the first 12 years of my marriage. When it was time for our daughter to go to school, Marathon and this property was the perfect solution. My husband had been a shipwright and I had always loved working with wood which prompted us to start a Boat Refinishing business. I've always said, 'I get paid to play'. I continued the business successfully for 10 years until we had a Hurricane that did a great deal of damage to our property. I found It necessary to start the transition into working more on my house and less on my business. This was the best decision I have ever made. I love Building & Designing things and my years of experience with wood and varnish have given me the opportunity to make this property a beautiful and relaxing sanctuary for all to enjoy.
