Great views. The unit was clean, well-furnished, and the windows were clean. Wifi was satisfactory. Lots of table and overhead lamps with very bright lighting. Big screen TVs with good streaming capabilities. The AC was very good as were the fans, and controls were easy to figure out. Lots of outlets, including plug-in blocks on the nightstands for charging phones, plugging in clocks, etc. The unit was quiet and we did not hear much noise from units beside or above us. However, the front door was difficult to operate (I had to lean against it to get the deadbolt to work) and winds caused a howling whistle all night. The microwave is a joke - too small (a microwave popcorn could not turn) and severely underpowered (only 700W). All the hinges on the kitchen cabinets need replacing. The coffee filters provided were 4-6 cup size, but the coffee maker is 12 cup, so we had to go out and purchase filters. The beach is gone. I wish I had known that - I would have chosen another facility.And to add insult to injury, you failed to include parking. NOBODY rents this place without having a car, so the daily parking should have been included in the VRBO fee instead of being an add-on. The threat of 25 per bag of garbage is insulting as well.

The condo fit our needs and wants well. The views were spectacular, having a full kitchen was nice and the beach chairs, towels, cooler and umbrella were definitely a bonus.

Amazing views - turtles and whales outside your door!

We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals over the years in many different locations. This is by far away the best we’ve ever stayed in. You can’t beat the 10th floor about 30 feet off of the ocean with turtles swimming directly below your balcony and whales breaching in the horizon. Not to mention the unit itself is beautifully appointed with updated furniture and a massive television. It also comes equipped with everything you need for the beach for six people: six backpack style beach, chairs, three umbrellas, three coolers and a plethora of Sandcastle making toys. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. We hope to be able to stay here again on our next visit!

Beautiful view!

We spent a very relaxing week celebrating my mother’s 82nd birthday. The 180 degree view from the balcony (and almost everywhere in the condo) is gorgeous. Saw lots of whale activity and some turtles. Appreciated the binoculars! Also appreciate the beach chairs and towels. Great communication from the property group. Very easy check in. Very comfortable. My only suggestion would be that they provide more cooking basics. Plenty of equipment, but only salt and pepper and coffee. I like to cook on my vacations but don’t like to have to buy even olive oil. But the food trucks were nearby so we definitely didn’t starve! You will need a car here. Not a lot to walk to. Otherwise were very happy with our stay

Perfect stay in paradise

The condo was amazing and the lanai and views were simply perfection. Spent a lot of time out there when we were in the condo. Countless turtle sightings and nightly sunsets were beautiful. Would def recommend this unit.

What an amazing place to stay!!!

The condo was comfortable, clean, fully stocked, and a pleasure to experience. Oh and did I mention the view!!!!???? So relaxing and beautiful!!! The management company was very available and answered all questions and concerns. The only drawback about this property is that there is no beach access or availability. Short walk to small beach close by. We would definitely stay here again!!

Very nice unit

The unit we stayed in was very nice, updated and clean. The building itself is very dated and there are doing some renovations. Our other family members were staying in units that are not privately owned and the difference is night and day. The only issue is the clothes dryer took FOREVER to dry laundry. Other than that everything was great!!

Great location! Beautiful condo!

We loved our stay at this property. The views were spectacular! The unit was well-appointed and so lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive. We'll definitely book again for our next stay on Maui! (My only suggestion--and it's minor--is to get a different mattress in the Master bedroom. Hawaii vacation family of five

We spent 4 nights - family of five Two adults and children ages 17-20 The condo was exactly as pictures showed - we loved it The lanai was amazing - sitting at high table for coffee on lounge chair for reading or relaxing at end of day in regular chairs - and sunsets were beautiful We did not cook but there seemed everything you needed if you preferred The deforms were spacious - and bed comfortable we used the pull out as the third bed 2 1/2 baths were great for group our size There were supplies for beach if needed - chairs and umbrellas The facility had a pool and could get to beach ( not hard to climb over sand bags ) Location was convenient for excursions we did - snorkel boat ride , road to Hana, sunset at Haleakala ,luau

Good choice

Room is very spacious so you can spread out. Two couple can easily stay there. Not much to do onsight - small pool; not much of a beech. But the room is great. Huge patio overlooking ocean. Beds comfortable. Hard to get AC much below about 69 but it wasn't horrible. Parking can be tight at night, but we always found a way. Convenient to elevator. Huge TV's if you like that. Kitchen had plenty of items. Extra half bath was nice. Would recommend. Quiet also.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing stay at Royal Kahana 1010. The condo is beautiful and spacious. The lanai looking out over the ocean was the best part. We could see whales and sea turtles from our balcony! Loved the extra half bathroom. The condo had everything we needed for our stay including beach towels, sand toys, lots of beach chairs, and coolers. The only downside is the beach area in front of the building. There are sand bags to prevent erosion of the beach that you have to climb over to access the beach. There is a sign that says beach access is closed, but it is pretty much at your own risk to climb over the sandbags. We also had an small issue with the beds in the 2nd bedroom not set up as twins initially (per our request). Great Condo

Overall, a great condo for a family of 5. The view was amazing. Mornings and evenings were great. Oceanside view on the 10th floor.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this was a fantastic place to say and made our trip wonderful. the entire place was clean and felt very relaxing, nice and personal. the little added touches such as providing locally grown coffee and a set of nice binoculars made morning whale watching from the balcony our breakfast fun. Kahana is a very short drive from some of the island's best snorkeling and surfing. We will be recommending this to our friends.

Million Dollar View

Property is even better than advertised. Huge balcony allows for incredible views. Everything you need is thoughtfully provided. No need to go on whale watching tour as you can watch them right from your comfortable balcony.

Condo looks exactly like pictures and all kitchen supplies looked brand new. Would love to return. Great communication from Hawaii Life.
