Colony Villas 1702 is a freshly renovated two-story villa on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii's Big Island, sleeping six across three bedrooms with views of the Kohala Mountains and Mauna Kea. It's about 25 minutes from Kona International Airport (KOA), making it an easy first and last stop on any Big Island trip.

Sleeping and living: a king primary suite with a private balcony and dual walk-in showers, a California king bedroom, and a third bedroom with two twin beds — good for kids or a second couple. Two full bathrooms plus a half bath mean no morning bottleneck. The open living area connects to a full kitchen with granite counters, a new stove and microwave, coffee maker and grinder, blender and ice maker, so you can cook rather than eat out every night. Central A/C with Nest controls, in-unit washer and dryer, and 500+ Mbps fiber internet with a desk, chair and printer for anyone working remotely.

Right outside your door: one of the best-positioned units in Colony Villas, steps from the community pool, hot tub, fitness center, tennis court and pickleball court. Waikoloa Beach Golf Course is a two-minute walk. Kings' Shops and Queens' MarketPlace — restaurants, groceries, and a snorkel shop — are a short stroll or a two-minute drive, and A-Bay is about 17 minutes on foot.
