I sent a txt to the host asking about closest grocery store and recommendations for places to visit. Did not get an answer. Host did contact me at end of stay letting me know she’d appreciate if we’d leave early to make her job easier. This site presented as a retirement community and we were the outsiders. Every morning, neighbors moved their breakfast table to the rail blocking what little view was available as well as blocking our exit path. There is a very small beach at low tide that requires climbing over big sharp rocks. The room was not as advertised and was almost cave like.

The room is immaculate. Leah makes sure that everything you need for a pleasant stay is supplied. The location is ideal for a tranquil vacation, it's incredibly quiet, yet close to Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset and Damariscotta.

Beautiful place with ocean view

This unit was everything we needed for a few days in the Boothbay Harbor area. Clean and nicely decorated. Easy to find, but having the name of the unit would have made it much easier! We enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful water views and ease of getting to places to see the area.

KY Sisters

We do a yearly sister trip and so far all 4 years have been along the coast of Maine. We fell in love with the Boothbay area and stay at the same place each year. It’s perfect. Awesome water views, easy location to get everywhere and the hosts are great. Very cost efficient as well. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed my little trip to Boothbay. Plenty to do. My grandkids came for one night and we had such fun at the Maine Botanical Gardens. The unit was just fine with all the essentials, comfortable beds, nice dock and pretty sunsets.

Relax in East Boothbay

This was my first time visiting Maine. My brother and his wife had stayed here previously and were in the room next to mine. The property is much more attractive and charming than you can tell from the photos. My room was quite spacious and well laid out. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I had a small microwave and hot plate that worked fine for breakfast. We cooked a few meals from my brother's room with a full kirchen and used the outdoor grill. Everyone on the property was very quiet which I appreciated. I enjoyed the view of the harbor from a chair on the pier. I could also see it from the balcony outside my room. There are a few good walks close to the property and a nice little deli with other provisions only a mile down the road.

The room is clean, comfortable, and efficient. There was no interaction with the owners at all and the no inflexibility of the refund policy made us a bit uneasy at first. But it is straightforward listing, nothing amiss, and the area is beautiful to explore.

A Well Kept Secret

We have been coming to Boothbay Harbor for years, and never really knew about this wonderful place to stay! The owners were very responsive and helpful when VRBO did not send us the check-in instructions, the accommodations were very comfortable, clean, and well appointed, and the view was absolutely gorgeous!! We cannot speak highly enough about our vacation at this little piece of Heaven, and hope to rent again in the years to come. A million thanks, Leah and Scott!!

There’s a true sense of community here — it’s a small, peaceful place surrounded by nature. I appreciate being close to scenic hiking trails and the opportunity for quiet walks along Ocean Point. And when I want a nice meal out, there are great restaurants nearby on the peninsula, so I don’t always have to the harbor if my day is already complete.
