Welcome to the Sage Mountain House!
This newly renovated guest suite offers quick access to I-70 and is less than 10 miles from downtown Denver. Youâre just minutes from Olde Town Arvada, The Ridge on 38th, Tennyson, The Highlands, and Sloanâs Lake. Golden, Red Rocks, and ski resorts are also an easy drive away. The Olde Town Arvada Light Rail Station is just 2 miles away for easy city access. The space is perfect for couples, small groups, or families seeking a cozy and peaceful stay.
The space
Conveniently located in the city but unique with spacious meadow views! Our home is in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Immerse yourself in this newly renovated space to include a brand new sunroom, full of light and energy, equipped with a large corner sofa, cozy gas fireplace, smart 55 inch OLED TV, free WiFi, spacious dinning table and a large patio window for a beautiful open feel. In the lower level you will find a large bedroom with a walk in closet, dresser, a queen size bed, mounted 50 inch TV, plus a sound machine to ensure a restful sleep. In the adjacent living room, you will find a daybed with a trundle, which accommodates two twin size mattresses. All mattresses have memory foam toppers. The space is set up to accommodate 4 adults and/or children with the option of requesting a portable crib to sleep an additional baby/child. This living room also includes a kitchenette equipped with a drip coffee maker, coffee filters, coffee grounds, a nespresso maker and pods, an electric kettle, tea packets, mugs, microwave, mini fridge, Brita water filter, disposable plates, disposable cups, disposable silverware, flavored coffee syrups, and seasonings for basic needs. You also have access to the outdoor space which includes a large patio, outdoor seating, dining table, and a gas fire pit. In addition, you also have access to our brand new Legacy Whirlpool 7 seater hot tub (added September 2025)!! For additional privacy, weâve added a large side awning that can retract almost 20 feet long and is over 5 feet high, to divide the patio from the hot tub area. This creates additional privacy for anyone using the hot tub!
Please note this outdoor space is shared with the hosts, so you may see us around as we care for the property. However, hosts will not use the patio while it is in use by guests!
Guest access
You have the entire guest suite to yourself, with a private entrance. The sunroom and lower level are attached to the primary home so guests may hear footsteps or soft voices. There is a locked door in the laundry room that separates and provides complete privacy between the guest suite and the primary house. This laundry room is located off of the staircase next to the sunroom, but it is not permitted for use by guests at this time. There is a black curtain separating the designated area for guests.
No access to the primary house or laundry room.
The large patio is the only shared space between guests and homeowners, to include the outdoor furniture/seating, outdoor dining table, gas fire pit, and hot tub. Please do not access the other backyard areas to include the camper, chicken coop, swing set, or the area behind the black carport wall.
Room includes 2 free parking spots on the driveway. Additional street parking is free and available, if necessary.
Other things to note
There are stairs between the sleeping area and the sunroom, making this space unsuitable for wheelchair users or anyone who may have difficulty with stairs.
