Laughing Pines Lodge is a spacious, pet friendly, family friendly, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom mountain cabin, located in Valley of the sun. Centrally situated less than 7 miles from both Fairplay and Alma, this spacious cabin sits on a rolling 5 acre lot that features beautiful Woodland views in every direction. The home features two separate living areas with game spaces and fireplaces, accented with classic mountain cabin decor. Welcome to the Laughing Pines Lodge!
The ground floor:
*The Entertainment Room - features a dartboard, air hockey table, game cabinet, a gas fireplace, a smart TV with DVD player, PlayStation, and Xbox, and a queen size, pull-down Murphy bed, as a secondary sleeping arrangement.
*The Central Bathroom - has a pedestal sink, standard toilet, and a bathtub/shower combo.
*The Garage Bay is not currently available for guest use.
Middle level:
*The Great Room - features cozy, leather couches and lounge chairs centered around a wood-burning fireplace, walk out access to the elevated, wraparound deck, and a large dining room table with comfortable seating for 6.
*The Elevated Wrap-around Deck - has comfortable outdoor seating for four with a propane fire pit and a propane heater.
*The Kitchen - is fully stocked with dishes, kitchen gadgets, and cooking accessories and offers high-top seating for 3 at the bar, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, and a laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer, available for guest use.
*The Primary Suite - has a large closet and windows, a queen size, custom log bed frame with plush mattress made up with fresh cotton bedding, a smart TV, white noise machine, and direct access to the Jack-n-Jill style bathroom.
*Jack-n-Jill Bathroom - has a step in shower, standard vanity, and toilet and can be accessed from either the kitchen hallway or the primary suite.
Top floor:
*The Loft Office - has an open office space, with a corner desk, stationary monitor, and multi-use charger.
*Loft Bunk Bedroom - (left bedroom) has an over-sized, custom log bunk bed, twin over full size, with a large closet.
*Loft Central Bathroom - has a standard vanity, toilet, and a bathtub/shower combo.
*Loft Queen Bedroom - has a plush and cozy queen size bed, fitted with comfy, cotton bedding, and a large closet.
DISCLOSURES
* This home is located in the Central Rockies at approx. 10,102 ft. elevation. Please be advised that elevation and weather should be considered when deciding if this location is appropriate.
* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult.
* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered. The home is also equipped with a well water system and may have variability in taste, smell or mineral content based on time of year and usage.
* Guests will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement after booking.
* Entry door monitors are in use at this property, and may be used to verify guest use.
* This home is pet friendly. We charge a $50 fee for each pet, and all pets must be approved. This fee is not included in the quoted rate, and will be charged after the booking is confirmed or the day of arrival on the reservation.
*The garage is locked off for homeowner use only, and is not available to guests.
