Spectacular Waterview Sunsets

Fittingly named after the B-17 Bomber that my grandfather, Linwood Wyman, flew during World War 2, "Sittin' Pretty" sits between the ever-changing Rachel Carson estuary side of Wells marsh and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

Guests can take a 2 minute walk to spend the day at the beach and return to the property for magical estuary view sunsets! Eagles, heron, cormorants, ducks, seagulls, seals, and the occasional deer or moose are a delight to the eye! Marsh entry steps allow kayaking, fishing for crabs and striper, digging for clams, or romping through the mud--the options are endless and, should you bring children, they are sure to stay busy while you relax on the deck with them in full view. A small storage shed provides beach chairs, yard games, and a beach wagon--as well as extra space for your items while you visit.

The property boasts two bedrooms-a queen room and a double/twin bunk room--both with sufficient closet space. There is also an additional twin daybed that sits in a nook at the front of the house.. A curtain can be closed across this area to provide an additional private sleeping room--it's really a third bedroom. This area also contains, books, board games, and art supplies for use during your stay as well as additional shelving for your belongings. There is one updated bathroom. The kitchen overlooks the river and has sunset views. It is spacious, fully stocked, and has a new dishwasher and a dual coffee pot--Keurig and regular brewing pot. There are two large empty pantries to store your groceries. The living room is spacious and furnished comfortably with seating for at least 6. There is a wall mounted smart TV for entertainment and a cozy propane fireplace should it get chilly at night during your stay. There are 5 skylights and plenty of windows to let in natural light. A new mini-split provides AC cool you off during hot summer nights. There is a washer/dryer in the home as well as a space to hang your clothes to dry if needed. The deck is equipped with a large sectional couch, a dining table for up to 6, and a Weber grill. The small yard is perfect for games before dinner.

Guests can walk, not only to the beach, but to Billy's Chowder House, the arcade, Rollover Cafe, Forbes, Beachcomber, Love Shack, Wells Beach Lobster Pound, and other shops within minutes. The location is perfect and generally safe for older children to enjoy a bit of freedom on vacation.

We have truly considered every detail necessary to make your stay as carefree and enjoyable as possible.
