Thanks for the 5 star review! The super close proximity to the beach and the ocean views are definitely a huge plus. (Our cleaners alerted us to the broken blind. They actually went ahead and replaced it for us - We are fortunate to have a great cleaner)

Appreciate the 5 star review. Glad to hear the appreciation for the super convenient beach access we have right at the "Public Way 2" beach entrance. We work with a professional cleaning company in Maine. They are great partners and always keep our home super clean and tidy. Cleaning services in Maine are not inexpensive. We transparently only pass on the actual cost of a cleaning at booking. We try to keep this cleaning fee as low as possible. Adding sheets/towels and the resulting laundry fee, increases the cleaning fee by 50%. Guests always have the option to request this service and our cleaners will oblige. The cleaning fee increases. We are always 100% happy to accomodate these requests. Lastly, as noted by our recent guests, the two bedrooms in our place both have ocean views-which we ourselves love to wake up to when we stay in the unit. We to, love falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves right across the street!!

Super appreciate all the accolades mentioned about our place. It is definitely a convenient vacation treat to be as close to the beach as our place. Seeing and hearing the ocean from your bedroom (with a cool ocean cross wind) is not something every guest to Wells Beach experiences. (Take it from me - before we bought this home right across from Wells Beach, we used to stay on Route 1 and pack it all up and head to the beach daily). Last minute this year we changed from guests bringing linens to us providing linens. Guests bringing their own linens was a weird Maine thing that we accepted as normal when we used to stay at various vacation rentals ourselves. Never thought we’d get a complaint because we were supplying linens/towels. Space is at a premium this close to the beach. Some beach homes sacrifice a closet for more bedroom space. First comment on that in 10 years of VRBO renting. Not sure where are salt went, but a) we stay in the unit ourselves and use the salt regularly b) had our guests let us know it was missing, we would have sent our property guy down with a replacement salt. Lastly, not sure what 1/4 full soaps on the sink has to do with anything? As long as there was enough for the stay??? Our family has stayed in this very unit more times than I can count. We never noticed the soaps on the sinks were only 1/4 full.
