### The Space

Our chalet is the perfect retreat for enjoying long-range mountain views, cozy evenings by the fire, and four-season adventures. The open-plan living room features a warm gas fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and a classic arcade system with favorites like Pac-Man & Galaga.

Upon arrival, you'll find the home is a few steps down from the road and parking. The main living area is on the main floor, and the three bedrooms and two bathrooms are located downstairs. One bathroom is accessible from the hallway, and the other is an en-suite. The living room features an open concept design, providing ample space for various activities. The spacious deck offers an array of amenities, including an L-shaped couch, a fire pit, a table and chairs, and a hot tub.

Enjoy crisp mountain mornings with coffee on the expansive deck or gather around the propane fire pit in the evening, wrapped in the blankets we provide. The fully stocked kitchen includes a Keurig, coffee maker, cookware, and spices, with bar seating and an adjacent dining area offering stunning mountain views.

**Bedroom Layout:**
* **Primary Bedroom:** A plush king bed with an en-suite bathroom and TV.
* **Guest Bedroom:** A comfortable queen bed with a TV.
* **Twin Room:** Two twin beds, one with a trundle, and a TV (sleeps 3) — perfect for kids or friends.

### Guest Access

Guests have full and private access to the entire house. Your stay includes:
* A private entrance and self-check-in.
* The entire home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas.
* An intimate 2-person hot tub with lights and jets, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
* An expansive deck with a BBQ grill and propane fire pit.

Nestled in the heart of the High Country, our chalet is your basecamp for exploration. You are just a short drive from the region's best attractions:

* **Beech Mountain Resort:** 2 minutes (skiing, snowboarding, tubing)
* **Banner Elk:** 10 minutes (restaurants, festivals, craft beer)
* **Boone:** 25 minutes (college-town charm, shopping, dining)
* **Blue Ridge Parkway:** 35 minutes (scenic drives, hiking, snowshoeing)
* **Grandfather Mountain:** 40 minutes (swinging bridge, wildlife, unmatched views)

### Getting Around

Parking is available for up to 3 small-to-mid-sized vehicles in the driveway.

**Important:** All-wheel drive (AWD) or 4-wheel drive (4WD) is required for mountain access from November through March. This is for your safety.

### House Rules

To ensure a wonderful stay for everyone, we ask that you observe the following rules:

* Up to 2 dogs are welcome for a non-refundable fee of $50 per dog. Dogs must be crated when left unattended.
* Absolutely no smoking is permitted on the property. A $1000 fine will be assessed if there is evidence of smoking or unapproved pets.
* Check-out is promptly at the agreed-upon time. A late check-out fee of $120 per hour may be charged unless previously arranged.
* Guests are subject to immediate removal without a refund if these rules are violated.

### Important Information

* **Safety:** The property has high decks, a fireplace, a fire pit, and a hot tub. Use of these amenities is at your own risk.
* **Security:** For your safety, there is one security doorbell camera located at the front entrance.
* **Rental Agreement:** By booking, you agree to be responsible for yourself and all guests or invitees. You agree to surrender the property in good condition at check-out.
